Comments about ‘Glenn Beck vows to take more active role in politics through rallies, voter registration’

Glenn is brilliant. Anyone who carefully listens to him can see that he gives very good arguments in favor of sound positions(although sometimes he does get a bit carried away with his emotional enthusiasm). Nonetheless, he is exactly what this country needs. He has done an incredible job exposing the corruption in Washington that feeds the most ridiculous--and(make no mistake) dangerous--policies.The left would destroy this country. Take health care for example. The liberal left (led in congress by the incompetent Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid---what a joke he is)would destroy our health care system in order to fix some of the problems with it. Glen is so popular simply because he says what needs to be said and what no one else will say (and he scares the left because he is so good at it).

Beck probably can win the Presidency in 2012 or 2016. He speaks for the common man and has values and impeccable moral values.

This will be entertaining!
Are they radio personalities or are they politicians?
Will they be held up to the same scrutiny as a candidate or will they just dry up and get fired like someone else from CNN.

This is what everyone has been saying. That Beck and Fox News aren't reporting the news instead they are acting as a political organization.

Then everyone wonders why Obama didn't want to give legitimacy to political organizations and allow them to disguise themselves as a news organization.

We aren't some kind of third world country where news organizations are leaders of some political movement. This is all the Obama administration needs to ban the Fox Party and its members and employees from taking part in legitimate press conferences and interviews.

Let them organize their political movements from the confines of their Party HQ at Fox News.

Someone's image on TV is more important than a properly vetted, qualified, leader.
These folks will find it difficult when they are no longer the peanut gallery, and now have questions asked of them.

What a joke, the only thing that would make it funnier is if Beck and Palin would team up.

I can't wait...If the GOP or whatever ticket these conservatives run under, it will assure a re-election of Obama. Theatre of the Absurd.

Beck, Hannity, Ingram, O'Reilly - all cut from the same hysterical cloth. Can't stand the fact that a Democrat is in the White House. Get over it; Obama is in and will be in for eight years. Health care will be reformed and America will win.

Good for Glenn Beck and good for the citizens of our grand republic for getting something like this organinized.

They are not anti-American. If they are scrutinized it won't be because they have friends and associates who are radical marxists. These are true patriots and I would back them up in their fight against tyranny. Good job Beck. Keep the faith.

Are you talking about Beck or Obama?

Beck speaks the truth about corruption in Washington. The only ones belittling him are the ones who refuse to listen to what he says. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE even attempt to address the issues he raises, preferring only to attack him personally. He primarily tells people to ask themselves WHY there are admitted radicals in the Administration whose own statements on tape say they despise the free market, view Mao as the person they look to most for inspiration, praise Chavez and his revolution, want to re-distribute wealth and have the workers of the world unite! Glenn's efforts to awaken the citizenry to politcal action are admirable, effective, and sorely needed.

Utah is so out of touch with the rest of the Country. Only in Utah would it be believed that Glenn Beck is mainstream enough to be considered a viable option. Only fringe right wingers think he's normal.

I predict that Glen will self destruct in scandal due to his mental illness. We liberals know that can't manage that much hate from an emotional standpoint, and you need to open up your heart and think to live fully. Beck and his dangerous sycophants are bad for America and for democracy.

I can only hope Beck or Palin wins the GOP ticket in 2012... what better way of ensuring four more years of Obama! Please, Repubs, nominate one of these kooks!

As a fellow LDS, I'm ashamed to have Beck associated with our religion.

He does made many valid points about small government which on the surface make a lot of sense.

However his sensationalist ways will soon cause much of the people that have "interest" in his views, to not take him seriously anymore. He will be like the boy who cried wolf.

I find it beyond amusing that a liberal will accuse a conservative of "hate" when that is the primary motivation of liberals. They hate pro-lifers, capitalism, religion (Christianity), business, military, people who disagree with them, guns, and anyone who makes a dollar more than them. They believe the government is the solution to everything. Please before you throw the term "hate" around look in the mirror!!!
