Air Force has very good pass defense, but they haven't seen an offense like BYU's. They have good corners, but they become irrelevant when BYU goes to a heavy dose of passes to TEs and RBs. BYU receivers caught just 3 passes in the first half. Air Force can't handle the TEs and RBs, plain and simple.

The score really should be 45-7. The referees have stolen two touchdowns from the Cougars: the one on the first drive with the bogus pass interference on Hafoka (not to mention the no call on the next play) and the bogus unsportsmanlike penalty on Hall, running a play that we've seen run in bunches by a lot of teams.

What do these officials have against Max Hall... Attempting to deceive the defender?! Are you serious?! That is an absolute joke... They even showed the rule and it outlaws pretend replacements or subs... Nothing about pretending audible or shifting.

Run the ball BYU!!!!!!!!

Attempting to deceive the defense? Are the refs serious. That is the WHOLE POINT. The offense intends to deceive the defense on nearly every play. Would a fake punt be called "intent to deceive"? What about an offsides kick? This ref needs to go back to school.

Cougars are rolling anyway. Max got excited and threw one interception. The tackled the defender and got a personal foul as well. Andrew George ran the other way for the 1st interception. Not Max's fault.

This one is almost over. Records going down with Max as the alltime MWC passing leader. Way to go Max. Max has 30 wins now, moving ahead of Ty Detmer's record 29 wins. Wow!

Great game Cougars. Way to roll. Cougars should be 52 right now. This game is not as close as the current score indicates.

The officiating in this game has clearly been one-sided.

First drive, Hafoka called for offensive pass interference away from the ball on what appeared to be incidental contact. Next play, officials keep the flag in the pocket on clear PI committed by AF.

BYU flagged for a "late hit" on a guy who was still running, and the whistle had not been blown. Later in the game, a BYU player is drilled out of bounds, no call.

The bogus call on Hall for "unsportsmanlike conduct."

Jordan Pendleton comes out of the pile with the ball in hand after a fumble. Officials give it back to AF.

And those are just the ones that I can remember off the top of my head.

I can't believe you cry-babies.. counting points that the "refs have taken away". Be big boys and accept the games outcome with grace and style. BYU won.. thats what we all wanted. Now it's on to a win over Utah next week!!

NevadaCoug: you must live in Southern Nevada where all the Yners are. I would be more concerned about the Utes next week!

I think the cougs are going to Boise for the bowl game. It has been a horrible year!

This team is definitely a head case! But I like this head, hope there's more of it next week.

I love how the Utes are puffing up after a win at SDSU. Lure them in with crumbs of bread...

I ain't the smartest tool in the shed but I know this. The Utes have yet to stop the BYU running game. Next week. Run Harvey, Run Tonga, Run JJ, Run, RUN, RUN. The fast but week yewts can't stop BYU's run game. The only way to stop BYU's run game is BYU's play calling....

Good game and way to go utes, we did not do so well with TCU so maybe they will get a chance for the BCS as if I cared much about the exclusive club.
We have a great coach but Bronco and Whit have built great programs Well done, see you next year.

Maybe it you utes and Y fans would go after each other a little more we will kick both of yours next year, house divided and all.
