Go Cougs!

UH guard Hiram Thompson is LDS and an RM and the older brother of freshman BYU receiver Brett Thompson. Nice win.

Congrats on 100 Coach!

A well deserved accomplishment for a terrific coach.

And doing it in Hawaii. It just doesn't get any better than that.

It's nice to see Tavernari getting his shooting touch back. Jimmer is off to a fantastic start.

Keep up the hard work guys and this could be a special year for BYU basketball.

Mizzou Blue

Way to go Cougs & congratulations to Coach Rose. Well deserved.

Nice Job

It's never easy to go to Hawaii and win. Coach Rose could be the best coach BYU has ever had.

He has a real challenge this year in trying to figure out a rotation and who to play. The team is so deep. It should be a very good year for Cougar basketball.

Will

Nice win. Congratulations Coach Rose.

David Decker

Looking good. Rose has done a remarkable job!!Unfortunately, I will be able to see only a few home games because of health(there must be hundreds of former season ticket holders like me and my Cougar crazy wife); and the fact that I don't have mtn. One more reason to be angry with the MWC. Yes, I blame them for not using more "muscle" See the football games at our son's, when he isn't deployed.(he has Direct;we have Dish re family deal) Missed 2 Cougar games. Thankful that I can see AF. Maybe I'll get lucky and Rose's team will get more "non-mtn" exposure as he takes them to higher rankings. At the least we'll see the March Madness.

JJ

One WAC team down, another one to go down in a few weeks.

AK Cougar

I listened to the game last night and it was an exciting to hear the game plan unfold. BYU played everyone and most of the players got quality minutes. I am not too concerned about the lineup, as the bench is equally talented. They all play very well together from the seniors to the freshman. When Coach Rose goes 5 - 6 players deep on the bench the team can keep a very up tempo game and always have fresh players in the game.

Congrats to Coach Rose for putting together a very talented team with great depth from the bench. Congrats also on your 100th win at BYU. Excellent game plan to take out Hawaii's strength and limiting their most productive players.

Go Cougars.

To JT

The best way to silence your critics, just keep canning the rock like you did last night.

WAC

Who? Fresno State or Nevada?

DEB

Rose is a good coach and has led the Cougs to many wins in the regular season. He will only be considered great if he can lead his team past the first round of several NCAA tournaments. GO COUGS!

Let's get it out

BYU will beat Utah State - even on State's home floor.

Utah State will be a good test for this team. Can't wait to see how they will respond to the hostility, oh I mean hospitality the students will have for them. If they can win there I fully expect they can get to and then win in the tournament.

yBu?

Keep talkin.

tavenari is the most overrated player in the NCAA

Joe

I believe this, and the next few, will be among the best Y hoops years ever. I'm extremely excited...

Dave Rose is a class act. I am happy that he's in remission for him, his family and his players. I wish him well.

JT's a pure shooter, and I hope he keeps launching. The best way for a shooter to cure a shooting slump is to shoot--he'll be fine. The rest of the cast is so strong this year he won't be shooting us out of any games.

Jimmer's my favorite, and reminds me of this combination: Tim Hardaway (read: crossover), Jeff Hornacek (read: great shooter, circus act, old school), and John Stockton (unselfish, great playmaker, excellent ball handler).

They're going to have a great year...
