this is one movie I would gladly go and see because it a true story on someone who knows how to play the game, have lived the life and knows what it's like to survive in a chaotic world of espionage. Thanks for all that you do Brother.

James Elliott

Thank you for your service to our country, and the personal sacrifice that involved. For you and the many other like you, I am truly grateful.

I was not CIA, but I worked with people who were while I was in the U.S. Air Force in Berlin, Germany. They were good friends of mine. I know they were fully committed to the work they were doing. I have since come to understand, however, that the CIA's operations were often misguided and counterproductive with regard to the principles the U.S. once represented. One should regard books like Ramsdell's as a testament to U.S. corruption rather than so-called patriotism. Better to read something like Tim Weiner's "Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA." I'm sorry that we continue to meddle in the affairs of other nations when we have no right to do so.

Is his story true?

How does the CIA feel about the story? Does his timeline add up?

Matthews Family

I remember my father Kevin Matthews telling of your ordeal that occurred in Moscow while we were there. It'll be cool to see the movie!

Ken

Great book, and individual (met at signing at Costco).

Quoth The Raven

I read his book and loved it!
