Comments about ‘Utah Utes football: Long makes SDSU defense difficult’

Yeah, this one worries me. Rocky Long has given the Utes fits over the years. He is the only in conference coach with a winning record against the Utes over the last 10 years. Now he will have a much better talent pool to work with on defense than he had in new Mexico. Remember last year the Utes beat more than one team 13-10. TCU jumps out, but the Lobos went to the wire with the Utes.

SDSU just hasn't pulled things together yet. Someday they will. If UNLV and SDSU get it going, they will have recruits galore who want to go to San Diego and Las Vegas.

Where's all the Ute trolls on this one? Are you too hesitant to forecast the score like you do on any BYU article?

I realize that most of you are good people, good fans and are not the one's making lame comments on BYU boards.

I hope you guys get it together. WU will give you fits and if you are not running on all cylinders they can beat you.

SDSU will ultimately have a much better defense and one that gives Utah trouble, that will not be this year however. Utah wins by 3 touchdowns, 1 less than their margin of victory next week. How you like that Mr. Anonymous? Why don't you just go back to you hole.

I have to say that utah will probably win SDSU but it will be an interesting matchup. BYU and UTah will be a good one though. Dream on U

This is very informative quote from SDSU's head coach. I wonder whether their offensive coordinator is somebody they turn to offensively. I wonder whether they also turn to their quarterbacks coach for issues related to quarterbacks.

I know...I should mind my own BYU business. But I just can't help a few comments.

Rocky Long has given Utah fits through the years, but I've got to say this isn't a Rocky Long team. He's going to need a few years before he has the personnel to wreak havoc again. When BYU played SDSU this year, it just didn't ever feel like a Rocky Long defense (and BYU rolled rushing).

I like Wide for at least 100 yards (more like 150) this week, and Wynn for about 150-200 yards passing with 2 TDs and 1 pick (he's young and they're athletic). As for drama or intrigue, I think the game will be over by mid 3rd quarter, at the latest (barring any major rut caused by looking ahead).
