Comments about ‘James should be back on Jazz telecasts’

David James knowing Jim Rome for so long I'm sure did not hurt getting the fill-in gig. But shows from other jungle affiliates have filled in as well. Some seem good, some not so much.

Good luck to DJ. Although I hope he does not do so well that another market would want to steal him. I hope PK embarrasses himself.

Regarding the people in the story, James is Ok but not sure why people would turn the radio on to listen to Fox and PK

PK should take over DJ! They should rename the show the Pk and DJ show not the DJ and PK show!!

PK and DJ, thanks for the great show. Make sure you rip the SEC on Monday. TCU is the only team who has played 3 top 25 teams and won. The other 3 have only played 1 top 25 team. Thanks for the laughs

I'm actually worried that PK will embarrass himself and with his arrogance, not even realize it. He seriously needs a handler and a muzzle sometimes.

He's all style and no substance. He's constantly saying things that will get a rise out of people, not that any of it's true or accurate, just inflammatory.

As long as I think of him as a radio version of the editorial page, I can tolerate him (actually I just pay attention to something else while he's yappin). I have great sympathy for DJ. He has the patience of Job. He should get hazardous duty pay for having to work along side such a piece as PK

Props to the local guys for making the National Scene. As usual DJ is carrying PK along for the ride. Personally I think DJ could fly solo just fine. Whenever I change radio stations it's because of something stupid PK says. BTW Kinahan, you recently called TCU the best Mountain West team ever. Well, you're WRONG again. Alex Smith was far better than Dalton and if the big imaginary game could be played, I'd NEVER EVER bet against the coaching tandem of Urban and Whittingham.

fellas, you need to get the Mailman on, or better yet, both Stockton and Malone. I bet you could deliver a classic if you could get Stockton talking, especially with Malone there offering rebuttals. You want to stand apart, well there you go. I should get a kicker from your producer btw.

Also make sure you point out that one of the teams ahead of TCU, Alabama, was punked by last year's MWC Champion...

I agree that you should rip the SEC and talk up TCU. I hope it works out that you can get Collie on the show on Monday, even if "they don't do interviews on Mondays". I think I'll actually listen to the Rome show for once on Monday.

Another chance for Utah to embarrass itself on a national level. PKs schtick grows tiresome quickly: A) Purposely take the opinion opposite of the popular opinion, just to have something to argue about, even though you don't believe it; and B) It's all about me-not really, that just the act- but really, it is all about me. I'm sure the pro-PK comments on this board will all be done by PK himself.

Love it when he's gone. Saves me from turning down the volume. Could be worse though, could be Dave Fox. I'd quit for sure.

Get Sheldon on and have him rip the SEC for you, maybe Terrance has a TCU take or two, or could PK be the one to find Jeff in Richmond? Who has more moles-PK or J Stew? PK is the biggest joke on radio - he is beyond awful! What a waste of airtime. Everytime he opens his mouth it is an embarrassment for him, the station, and for Utah. I can't believe he still has a job. The worst sports personality ever.
