Please, nobody tell my wife about this concert.
His talent is immense. Let's hope he can pace himself, and not burn himself out.
There is a world famous pianist named Yevgeny Kissin who generally only plays 50 performances a year. That is much more relaxed and sane in my opinion.
Hey, be a good husband. My husband bought tickets for my birthday present. In fact, he bought tickets for all my family. Hope his voice holds all right. Those Christmas songs he recorded on his album are difficult to sing, and he did such a beautiful job. My college boys think David is a great singer.
Eight more days and I will be hearing David and his glorious VOICE!
I trust the Archulator...he'll know what he can do, and what he can't. The young man is quite brilliant! God bless him.
My family is going to see him in concert. We are excited. I hope David will have a long career in music. It's great to see him on stage showing what he can do. After watching him in concerts, I can say that he is a stage performer first and foremost. He is a good studio artist but nothing beats the David Archuleta live. It's like watching a totally different person to watch him perform on stage. If you haven't seen him live, you might wanna give it a try.
I got his Christmas CD last week and I have listened to it nearly a dozen times. I love it, and he has a range that is easy to sing to, kind of like Neil Diamond. I didn't really enjoy his first CD, only listened to it a couple of times, but this one is one of my favorites. I wish I could see him do a Christmas concert. Enjoy Utah!!
Can't wait for the shows here and the CD singing on sat at deseret book. We have tickets to both nights and it will be glorious.
So excited for David's concert!
To Nate above: Why don't you go with your wife to the concert? I bet you would come away a fan.
I can't wait to see David on this tour. I love both of his albums. One thing David didn't mention - Dec 17 his Connecticut concert will be live streamed by the new Billboard Live website. So between Thankgiving on FOX, Dec 10 on Univision, and Dec 17 on Billboard Live it's going to be a fun several weeks for fans!
I love David Archuleta's exquisite voice and who he is as a person. He's so wise for his age, any age actually. Plus, he's wayyy cute, funny, and endearing.
I live on the west coast and am flying to Santa Rosa to see him for the eighth time. He's just plain incredible--and especially so seen live. His voice is so mature and nuanced, and he has a really rare musicality. Don't miss his concert if you can help it. You will be sooo glad you went! And, his Christmas album is stellar. I've listened to it on a daily basis since it came out. If you buy one Christmas CD this season, this should be the one. It's gonna be a classic without a doubt and will be played in our household every year from here on out.
David is gonna be HUGE folks, if you haven't figured that out yet. Trust me on this. It couldn't happen to a nicer or more talented guy, either.
David should run for president, he would win over Palin in looks and smarts.
Dang, there are NOT enough words to express how amazing this kid is. And the love he has for the Gospel truly amazes me. He's not afraid to show it or stand up for it. The few times I've met him, I've just wanted to keep quiet because he's so humble that it's like...shoot, if I say something, will it offend him? I'm just glad we both share the same Religion, Cultural, Age, etc so we have something to talk about without it being awkward.
All I have to say is that I'm excited for his concert on Wednesday, I'm surprising my little 9 year old sister with tickets to the show for her birthday, which happens to be ON the day of the concert!! Can't wait to see her expression when she opens her present at her party tomorrow!!
GO ARCHIE!!
Ps. If you haven't had a chance to listen to his Christmas album, DO IT! SO awesome!
Culture NOT Cultural.**
David is on a mission, a mission to sing fabulously.
He will be signing his new CD at the Fort Union Deseret Book store tomorrow (Saturday 11/20) morning! Let's support David!
Will David try and serve an LDS mission at all and take a break for singing?
Get him while you can ladies. He is on his 14th minute and fading fast. He will be working as a night cleark at wal-mart a year from now.
And ahh yea... He is a young man from Utah of course he will be serving a mission.
There are a lot of young men from Utah that don't serve missions. You must not be from Utah, either that or you go around with blinders on all day.
OOh Goodie!! Lucky US!!!
to get him while you can---it sounds to me like you are slightly jealous of David. He won't be gone in a year. He will have a long and wonderful career. Maybe you should sit back and enjoy his music, instead of wishing you had what he has!!!!
