This is so sad. I hope people who know something will do the right thing and come forward.
Im disgusted with what somw people will do. The world is getting sadder everyday.
Is the owner of the car someone that has been arrested or is he the owner and someone else had the car?
or don't report at all! too much speculation going on here!
Questions: If you read the article, it says that the owner of the car is currently in the Beaver County jail, so obviously someone else has the car right now.
Get it right: The article merely reports what deputies are saying. So I don't see any great amount of speculation.
I read on the tribune that the owner of the car is actually in jail and could not have been at the scene. More information please DesNews!
I think this is the most atrocious thing i have heard all month long. I cant believe somebody would do that
Someone was killed here, lets have a little respect, c'mon.
Dr. Mortensen was a great teacher and a friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

P.S. I wish DN readers would be more careful commenting, use a little restraint, and a lot more class.
Dr. Mortensen was my Metallurgy professor at BYU back in the early 80's. Great teacher and made a somewhat boring subject fun and interesting. I still remember a lot of his stories today.
I am still in awe over the situation. I think it was an inside job. I think that the two that were tied up know more than they are saying...
It's intresting to read what everyone has to say!
The two people that were tied up were relatives of the victim.
