It's to bad that my age group, being 25 is so out of shape and have no ambition. I think my year was the last of the slim Americans. In Utah we are in better shape than the rest of the Nation! So sad!

Round is the New Shape in America.

I have never seen a rectangular Big Mac... Just a Round one.

Maybe McDonalds should introduce one.

Every generation has its problem | 12:57 a.m. Nov. 17, 2009
It's too bad that "Doug Robinson" hates my generation. Yes, as a whole, we are fat and lazy, but my generation hasn't been the one to start needless wars, divide people by race, or run record federal deficits. We have not been the ones to turn our back on the greatest generation under the guise of freedom to create a culture of drugs and rampant immorality and "free love.". Yes, Doug, we eat too much, but the decline of America started long before our birth. It was the generation raised by those who won the second world war that squandered the promise of America.

Go for a walk! Walking dosn't require special shoes or clothes or equipment. Cities are relearning the value of sidewalks. Scouts need leaders who will simply take them for walks. It's a simple way to get fit and loose a few pounds. It dosn't happen fast, but it happens, every time.

Our kids get 1/2 hour of "screen time" per day and they can earn another 1/2 hour with good behavior. We tell them they can clean the house or go outside and play.

He doesn't hate your generation or he wouldn't care so much about your future health and well being. I remember when I was a kid, I was determined that as an adult I would eat fast food every meal and have all the sweets I wanted, whenever I wanted!!! I didn't know then what was best for me.
We're fat | 4:29 p.m. Nov. 17, 2009
I never considered myself terribly fat, a little overweight probably. Then I went to Europe...we're all FAT over here. We need to get over the justification and just lose weight.

After that trip I made lifestyle changes and lost 30lbs. I'm nearly out of the overweight category. I feel great and am looking better all the time. I feel lucky that, at 36 years old, I had the chance to change before it was too late or before I had adverse health impacts from it.
