It doesn't matter what the property owner wants. The environmentalists have killed large segments of the economy in the name of political control.

@gron

"The environmentalists have killed large segments of the economy in the name of political control."

[citation needed]

Please tell me which "large segments" of the economy have been killed by environmentalists and provide citations.

And do you even know who the property owner is in this case? It's the BLM. That means that the property is owned by the all Americans. Apparently 3 groups of people (who are among the property owners) think that this mine's plan is flawed so they are taking it to court.

Don

It does not matter how much we appreciate and enjoy the environment and the work we do to preserve it the Environmental Movement will call us all radicals and stupid when we come out in support of jobs in:

Mining
Oil Production
Nuclear Energy
Forestry
Agriculture(Especially California's Central Valley
Natural Gas development
Heavy Industry
Construction

It just doesn't matter that well in excess of a million high paying jobs are stopped in creation by a radical minority of environmentalists or maybe its not that, maybe its their desire to have power and control our lives and degrade our nation! All the areas President Obama supports! No wonder there are less and less jobs everyday!

Consequences

The longer the environmentalists oppose nuclear power the longer we'll have to depend on much-dirtier, CO2-spewing coal-fired electric power generation. Alternatives to real energy (solar, wind)will never supply more than a token amount of the nation's power needs.
