So only 20% are vaccinated, yet the number of people becoming sick are decreasing?? How can this happen?!?! I thought that was what the high vaccination percentages were supposed to do.

???

ok so have the swine flu- named over a pig- yet it has little to do with a pig

we have bird flu

and we have every other flu that is named after a communist government
so tell me how they know over 12 months earlier what the flu is over the next season is??????

seriously how do they know? swine flu came about with obama-- more like obama flu-

best to keep the masses attention on something else while obama screws up the white house-- by the time we come to our senses the white house will be painted purple and orange

and your kids will be injected with rotten egg, mercury, arsenic and other crap-- learn the truth about fluoride, vaccinations, and what you eat...

if you ate right and your system was clean you would live a long time.

chicken cells in a petri dish lasted over 35 years as they were kept clean- normal chicken about 10-15 years naturally? u do the math- question is... do you want to live a longer life???

Well, they do talk about "waves," with all flus year to year. By definition, in order to have a "wave," you must have a time of decrease before another increase. It might have something to do with mutations, or with exposures to different segments of the population over time.

If you wish to become an expert about why and how this happens, I suggest medical school.

Barring that, I suggest you just listen to the advice of your doctors, e.g., the doctors and epidemiologists quoted here.

Dear Anonymous, would you put your faith in medicine, as opposed to living a virtuous lifestyle? Those who trust in Him, need not worry.

I'll take the medicine. Besides, if there is a "Him," I must assume he allowed modern medicine to evolve and become what it is today.

@Sister Smith 6:11

So do you live a virtuous lifestyle and then not bother to wash your hands after you carve the meat and before eating a dinner roll?

When you have surgery to you allow penicillin, or just hope you don't get an infection, like they did hundreds of years ago?

Or do you actually take steps yourself to protect your own health?

Do you not believe any righteous person has ever suffered illness because of infection or illness?

Do you not suppose He expects us to do what we can to protect our own health, rather than lazily look to Him to do everything for us?

Amen. But what's remarkable to me as how many doctors and researchers they have duped in this effort. I mean, almost ALL of them spout the lines they are spoon fed, and even give vaccines to their own families and friends. Vaccines were invented to shorten lifespans and reduce population, and the powers-that-be are selling it so well, it's working (well, on most everybody, not you and me and a few others, we're not idiots). I mean, since the advent of modern medicine, look how much average lifespan in developed countries has shortened compared to those third-world places where they have not yet been conned into partaking of the idiocy.

@Karl: Can't tell if your post is a joke or not, but here's the average life expectancies of men and women in 1900 and 2009. 1900: Men, age 47; women, age 50. 2009: Men, 75; women, 80. That's a significant increase, not a decrease as you suggest.

@???: I must assume you eat nothing but organic foods - better yet, you must grow your own - otherwise you are putting tons of toxins in your body. Also, why don't you check into the toxins you're getting from that carpet on your floor and other household items that contain toxins that your body is absorbing. If you think a flu shot is a concern, you should look into those things.
