reminds me alot of Danny Ainge; Jimmer already has the skills, the only thing he's slightly behind Ainge is floor leadership.

When Danny was a Freshman, he was already directing the Seniors on the floor.

Jimmer is quickly becoming that type of floor general and this is going to be a great year for BYU basketball.

Congrats Jimmer on a good start!

I thought for sure that this award would go to one of the Ute seniors Drca or Tillie, for keeping the game so close vs. powerhouse Idaho. I mean, to play the top program in the state of Idaho and only lose by a few points, that's saying something.

It must be a BYU bias.

The first of many. I expect Fredette to be a usual in weekly honors for the MWC along with his teammates. This should be BYU's year to win the conference outright (again), win the MWC tournament (finally), and win an NCAA tournament game (finally). Good win over Bradley to shake off the rust and start the season right.

No way, he is no Danny Ainge. What kind of a comment is that?

Danny Ainge was not only a better player but better looking.

Not only was Ainge a better player, he had a first name that makes sense.

Danny Ainge was twice the player as Jimmer Fredette. Please fellas, get real!

k i'll grant yoo ainge is probably the best player ever to play at byu. but the name "jimmer" . . . well that just rocks.
Jimmer Jammer | 11:30 p.m. Nov. 16, 2009
Big shocker, he'll get that for at least 12 of the weeks, though the conference tries to spread it, he's that good

The name Jimmer doesn't exactly say strong leader to me. Not even in the same neighborhood as ainge
Ainge | 2:26 p.m. Nov. 17, 2009
Didn't Ainge bite a player in the NBA?
