Why should the man that was paid to do this be incarcerated but the girl that paid to have it done get off scott free? She is just as guilty if not more since it was her idea!! I feel bad for her baby to be born to someone that young and obviously confused!!

If the girl walks so should the guy she paid to beat her up. Guess it just depends on what religion or family you belong too these days on whether you get a light sentence or a harsh one.

The interpretation of the law is probably accurate but what a sad situation, but for once we have a judge who followed the law instead of interpreting the law to suit public opinion or emotion. On the other hand this young woman should never be allowed to raise this child. The child deserves so much better than this individual as a mother.

PLEASE tell me that the baby was taken away from the mother at birth!!! How absolutely horrible, this whole story. And, yes, if the girl got off without charges, so should have the man she paid. This is just ridiculous!

Be prepared for many, many more cases like this (only more horrific) should abortion rights be rolled back.

We have decades of history of women trying to engineer abortions, with often tragic results, when it has been illegal.

wow. can't believe you could even doubt the poster's statement. If something is made illegal that many many people want, they will find a way to get it done illegally. that's not rocket science. planned parenthood? ha - you don't need to ask them. just look at prescription drugs. you think all your friends get them from the doctor?

think before you ridicule someone else's post. it is simply common sense that if abortion is made illegal then people will find a different way - and since it won't be doctors, it will be messy... what don't you understand?
