The government just makes life better every day for people doesn't it?

YOUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES built these government beauracracies that mess up everyones day to day life.

Any private organization that made errors of this magnitude would fail. Since it is government though? Your politicians just make it bigger and more cumbersome with every law they pass.

Put an end to the madness and get rid of every incumbent there is....REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT.

Our country would be instantly be improved.

If you want to get rid of the same ole same ole then get rid of these longstanding geriatrics and get some new people in there who are not so corrupt.

Our government at work. Giving with one hand and taking away with the other.

It's another example of the bait and switch tactics used in government. A big press showing in Feb09 with the anouncement of tax relief only to find out later the people will have to give it all back. The giving back part is generally omited from any press coverage. My local paper made this discovery several months ago, but it is good to see someone else has "found" out about the bait and switch.
All incumbents in congress must go, along with our big 3 "news" agencys that just plain tell lies!!

It is the responsibility of workers to make sure that the correct amount of money is being withheld for taxes. If an insufficient amount is being withheld, then file a new W4 with the payroll office.

classic. Would you have ever known the big bad government would do something like this? We are chumps and we are as bad as the clowns in Washington! We continue to sit back and allow this to happen. I am sorry folks, but we deserve this treatment.

There's no bait and switch here, but it sounds like there was an error in which people got more money than they were supposed to get. There was a "government boo boo" as one poster put it, but it really boils down to whether you think you should get more money than you were supposed to get in the first place.
