what about evan shinners? his interpretation was bland? does the writer even know the pieces he played? obviously NOT since I'm pretty sure he played three copland pieces and he added his own cadenza in the bach concerto and did stuff i've never ever heard other people (include conduct from the piano) do there. He was CLEARLY the star of the night and will be a star of the future.

Shinners was amazing; perhaps the best pianist I've heard all year, if not in the last five years.

My family and friends all came to this concert. And wow! What a beautiful church and choir. my kids just loved it! and the piano player was amazing, the only thing is he did not give an encore! Too bad! Thank you Cathedral of the Madeline!
