What about this that were not mormon? I guess they don't count.
I didn't know headstones could be members of the church...what do I know?
My family's Mormon graveyard near Kanab has been vandalized. The old home that stood nearly 100 years, built by William Derby Johnson was ordered burnt to the ground by the LDS bishop of Kanab. Just a little double standard here.
Well the troll's are out eartly today... I wonder if this is a job for them... they get paid for each demeaning comment they make..
What I want to know is if only the LDS grave stones were targeted or if this was a random dessecration?
Whatever it was... this is a horrible thing to do.
I hope that they catch who did this.
Who were the historical figures?
Those who take exception to the mention of the religion of those who the headstone commemorate have obviously never read the many stories of desecrations of Jewish graves, especially in France.
The article was worth reading but these comments made are discusting and show lack of common sense, lack of respect and lack of anything that could remotly be called good.I only comment because someone needs to step up to the plate. Most people would not give this "verbal circus" the time of day.
What bishop of Kanab are you talking about? The first one or the last one? They must have had a good reason to burn down your polygamy colony ..LOL! Please explain what you are talking about?
Are the LDS headstones more valuable then the Christian headstones. I don't get it?
["Those who take exception to the mention of the religion of those who the headstone commemorate have obviously never read the many stories of desecrations of Jewish graves, especially in France"]
what a waste of a comment. you running out of things to say, John? or just feel you have to comment on every story?
You anti's are so desperate to attack the LDS church that you'll whine about an article that mentions that gravestones of former LDS members were vandalized?
Your true colors of extreme foolishness are showing...

Did the period and the question mark swap places. I don't get it?
For thw last time, mormons are not Jews and have no connection. Will you stop it please!
I live in Kanab, Utah--WHAT HOME? was ever burnt down by a Kanab Bishop?
All I know of is that the very first Bishop of Kanab UT., was the only one who lost family due to a horrible fire. What are you (9:30 a.m.) referring to?
