Comments about ‘Businessmen propose higher salary for Ogden mayor’

Do these "Ogden businessmen" understand that paying the Mayor more would require more taxes to be payed by the business they run? I would not take much business advice from this group.

I think that the mayor is needs to step down and let someone else have a chance at really helping the people of Ogden out. insted of putting down the minority people of Ogden,yea we need a change with someone that will make it better for the spanish speaking people here.we need some give and less take! why he keeps getting elected, is bad news for people who are living here and making a life for themselves,just look at all the minorities that are here coming from other states,and working for less then any other state.it will continue to get worse for others to find jobs here just because of that.and what I have found anymore, its not what you know, its who you know to get job here.in fact I think $80.000 is to much to be paying Godfrey!Face it his time is up.

that because Godfrey is a poor mayor that it's because of the salary he is paid?
