Thanks to the members of the Nine Mile Canyon Coalition for making this happen. They had to face the dogmatic opposition of the oil/gas industry and the Bush administration.

I'm happy that this is finally almost a reality; however it has taken way too long and much damage to the area has been caused by oil and gas companies' to/from traffic in the area despite their unfounded claims of the opposite.

If you haven't been through Nine Mile Canyon before, go now before it's too late. It's beautiful and something that too many people have taken for granted for too long.

Well that all depends on where you are at now. but the canyon is 15-20 miles northeast of Price.
