So what does this mean: "With 10- to 20-degree weather, authorities said they would attempt another rescue if necessary."

Just going to leave them there until the weather warms up?

Do these boys get charged for the cost of the rescue? I certainly hope so.

That is the great thing about current technology. You can go anywhere without knowing anything or having any equipment or training- as long as you have a ceelphone to call for a rescue.

I certainly hope they will be okay, and they will remember this lesson they are being taught.

Back when I was out every weekend. If we got off route we would back back and find the route. I looked at it this way: if you got in, you should be able to get out.

Give the guys a break... they're young.... they made a mistake. Lets be thankful they didn't get hurt. They'll have the rest of the their life to contribute to society. Wouldn't you rather have the community pick up the tab for a few thousand bucks in a rescue effort... then reading two obituaries this morning? Come on!

Where would we all be if everyone stuck to the beaten path? I have always learned more from my mistakes than from my successes. I just am happy they were smart enough to realize they were in over their heads and ask for help. If a little taxpayer money is needed to help them let me know. Why do some of you clowns always put money before everything else. if that is your take on life become a politician
