Just going to leave them there until the weather warms up?

Do these boys get charged for the cost of the rescue? I certainly hope so.

That is the great thing about current technology. You can go anywhere without knowing anything or having any equipment or training- as long as you have a ceelphone to call for a rescue.

I certainly hope they will be okay, and they will remember this lesson they are being taught.

Back when I was out every weekend. If we got off route we would back back and find the route. I looked at it this way: if you got in, you should be able to get out.

Give the guys a break... they're young.... they made a mistake. Lets be thankful they didn't get hurt. They'll have the rest of the their life to contribute to society. Wouldn't you rather have the community pick up the tab for a few thousand bucks in a rescue effort... then reading two obituaries this morning? Come on!

Where would we all be if everyone stuck to the beaten path? I have always learned more from my mistakes than from my successes. I just am happy they were smart enough to realize they were in over their heads and ask for help. If a little taxpayer money is needed to help them let me know.
