Most of what is said here is also true of our national reps....Hatch, Bennett, etc.
They are like roaches......they check into national office and never leave. They scatter in the light of day but come out in the night to feed from the trough.
Too bad there isn't a way to get them out of office and out of Washington.
As long as shameless, blood-sucking lobbyists run our politics, we the people don't stand a chance. Accept reality all ye little ones.
Aren't you a political roach?
I wonder John when was the last time you read your own ethics rules. I do believe there is something in there about being truthful, fair, balanced and yes respectful. As a former federal and state employee I wonder if you have cleaned all the pests out of your life?
Getting a little shrill aren't you John?
Thanks, John, for a courageous and apt column.
The Governor's Commission's recommendations are the true test for this column and our elected officials. Unanimous recommendations (including from some big name Republicans) show that these proposals are worthy of serious consideration. If the legislature misses this chance to do some good, the roach analogy is unfortunately dead on.
Where can I sign the petition? I know alot of people who are wanting to sign it as well.
Gee John - in this piece you talk about strengthening democracy and yet you continually support and encourage illegal immigration.
Democracy includes the rule of law and illegal immigration tramples those laws. You cannot actively support and push for both, doing so makes you a hypocrite. But, most of us already knew that about you.
