So I suppose that everyone getting married in the DC temple drove up from North Carolina?

I am surprised that this old joke was deemed "fit to publish." I guess there must have been a paucity of letters from Faux News believers telling all of us what the truth is. On second thought, I really should be thankful for small miracles!

Seen that before

I think I received that email last year too.

kind of funny

i guess, I cracked a smile

So we can look forward to your name on the ballot next round, ready to ride into washington and fix all this? I didn't think so.

wallofvoodoo

That's so old I fell off my dinosaur (A.K.A. a Utah Senator) laughing.

And I'll bet you voted for Hatch, Bennett and Bishop.

How'd this one get through? Rehashed lame old joke that I've heard applied to so many places/organizations.

Honest Luke

It's still funny. Thanks.

Got me

I hadn't heard this joke before so I was ready to be outraged.

Bwahahahahaha!

Utah mirrors Washington. :-)

2 bits

There's quite enough religious symbology in Washington DC already for my tastes. I don't think we need a lot more or to worry about it.

SLC is having the same problem....

peperlake

what a lame joke.

CB

It's nice to start the day with a smile, old, lame or whatever!

Ernest T. Bass

It's even more difficult to find any of those in Utah.

You seem to hate Utah and anything related to Utah (well, mostly Republicans, but there are too many Republicans in Utah so you obviously feel obligated to criticise the state in general for that flaw)... but saying Washington DC compares favorably to Utah in these 2 areas... Now that's a little obsurd. DC has a well earned reputation here.

But assuming both postings were jokes... Yours was pretty funny too, but in sort of an adolescent, "I know you are but what am I"... sort of way.
