Who cares what a 20 something woman thinks, if you call that thinking.

How sad that the number of "friends" someone has on a social networking site is a source of pride and competition. Better to call them "contacts" or "people I met once or twice," or "people whose names I recognize from somewhere." To think that you're somehow better than someone else because you have more "friends" seems rather shallow to me.

I have a FaceBook and added some people who were once in our ward.I was nieve enough to think we would keep in touch but was I ever wrong.Seems that FB attracts more women than men and the lovely sisters equate any contact on facebook with someone other than their husbands is text messaging and we all know how "evil" text messaging is.The church tries to control who you can and cannot talk to.Actually I accept that.What else can I do. Cant make someone talk to me but I think its rather childish that adults would rather act like children. You know that "Dont talk to strangers" and heaven forbid "dont chat on line."Actually I think people in general are afraid to talk to anyone.
