Now if Obama and the Chinese Government were able to come up with a similar statements, then a major step forwards towards real international political and diplomatic pressure would have been achieved. Obama is half way there with the Russian comments. Such political engagement and to develop multi-national cooperation on major global issues would be a great breakthrough from the Bush unilateral approach to military aggressive, pre-emptive action that has not have the intended impact as yet.
nobody holds their breath waiting for those sanctions to be put in place.
Gee, what an idea. Look at how sanctions brought the Cubans to their knees. And they don't even have any oil!
