Wide will continue to get shut down becuase Wynn is no threat to run....The offense is no longer a zone-read threat. With exception of David Reed making some incredible acrobatic catches on toss up balls... Wynn's performance was weak.

This was the biggest game in th econference this year. It wasn't available to most Utah TV viewers. SO rather than do a big write up the Deseret News gives us 4 or 5 paragraphs. Tell me how that makes sense?

TCU is for real...been saying it since our escape act last year. After watching Florida play, I think TCU could beat them...wow.

Harline is still open...!!!

Utah did lose to a better team, but Utah football did expose all the weakness of the TCU offense and defense. A good team with lots of depth can beat TCU. They have many weakness and Utah was the only team to expose them..................Whit is a much better coach.

I am thankful that the MWC landed TCU. Now thee are "TWO" teams in the MWC wou have won National Championships, and have Heisman Tropy Winners.

It gives more credibility to the conference to have two teams with that hardware.

BYU rushing did much better than the Utes top rusher.......

Hum? Maybe the Utes don't have the TOP rusher in the MWC............

Maybe he is only 3rd behind TCU and BYU

Something to think about?????????????

Here comes Cain at QB!!!!!

Don't know what kind of Kool Aid you Yners been drinking "BYU did a better job"? You lost by 31 points AT HOME and the Utes lost by 27 on the road. But even more telling was the New Mexico game. Utah crushed NM by 31 and the Kittens barely squirm past by 5. See you in Provo and get ready for chapter of "Speed Kills."

"Harline is still open...!!! "

Not if Max is throwing the ball.

Who the heck cares whether the Utes exposed TCU's weaknesses? Your Utes were exposed even more for how poor their defense is against the run...300+ yards was an exposure of TCU's weaknesses? 21 of those so-called exposure points, were done after TCU took their foot off your necks up 35-7 before half-time...

All this has done, was expose how lucky Utah was last year, Facing all your "tough" opponents at home, except for Alabama in the Sugar-Bowl. Yes, the Utes did beat-down the "tide" but had no pressure on them to do so...no different than BYU doing the same thing to OU this year...nothing to lose. But in the big road games, all this proved to the masses, is that Utah has no track record of beating superior opponents on the road...See you in Provo in 2 weeks...

In two weeks we'll all know which team is best. Trash talking does nothing but expose the weakness of the author of the text.
RE To:Anonymous 2:47 | 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 2009
Good thing the Utes won't be facing a superior opponent on the road in 2 weeks.
re:Delusional Yners | 9:19 a.m. Nov. 16, 2009
When comparing common opponents, either compare all of them or none of them. You can't pick and choose the ones you want.

Here are the facts:

Opponent UY

Air7
Colo St719
New Mex315
SD St10
TCU-28-31
UNLV2038
WYO1252
Utah St1818

Compare this...two blowouts...at home (with sr. record setting all-star, ya right) vs 1 blowout on the road with a Freshman qb and one road loss to the Rose bowl team. hmmm....

You're right, if Max is throwing then Collie is open.
Jordan | 10:43 a.m. Nov. 17, 2009
Since looking at the past apparently means something to you people, especially the ones still talking about who is open, well, I will say 48-24. Can't deny the beat-down last year. But I digress, the past means nothing, not even the scoring comparisons (even using every one this season means nothing). I also think many fans are not focusing on the right game right now. BYU should be worried about Air Force and Utah should be worried about SDSU. After that (and hopefully after two wins) we can worry about the Holy War.

Amen!
