It is really hard to care about the Olympics. In Vancouver the city is laying off workers so they can use the money to pay for their share of the Olympics. The province has the worst case of child poverty in Canada and yet has the gall to host and pay their share for the Olympics. The ticket price to the events is beyond the budget of most people who live, work and pay taxes in the province and yet it is on their backs that a few, like Noelle, can go and exploit the citizens. The cost of security alone could feed and cloth thousands of people. In a nutshell Ms. Pikus-Pace stay home and help your neighbors.
