All those articles written about utah beating TCU were irrelevant. I predicted
TCU would score 52 at least and they didn't disappoint! Nice job TCU as
new MWC championship! Let's hope for a chance for you to play for the
national championship and that will give two MWC teams a national title!

All week you told everyone, especially the COUGS, how we should stay home and
watch the Big Boys play. What I saw was a far superior team kill the Utes. That
game wasn't even close, and I think I can speak for all BYU Fans, in saying
THANKS! Thanks for showing us what it's like to play with the Big Boys. I
have never seen so many points put up so fast. By the time you play BYU you will
be lucky to be back in the Top 25! Congrats on a great game!

You must be a Cougar Fan. By the way, nice showing at New Mexico today. Solid.
We played away in a hostile environment, with a Freshman QB. You
guys....played at home, with a Senior QB. Need I say more. The Utes will
rebound. Remember, this is our rebuilding season. We will go 9-3, and be back
next year.

Hard to say if this game showed us how truly great TCU is or how soft the Utes
are. I am hoping the former and that the Utes will win out and TCU will go to a
BCS bowl. I think the Utes ran into a Buzzsaw. TCU would represent the
conference well, particularly if they were to play say the PAC-10 champ, Ohio
State (although tthe Rose Bowl would be unlikely), a Big 10 runner-up (ie Iowa,
Penn St. or Wisconsin) or the Big East champ. They's probably give Texas a
run for their money.
Here's hoping the Utes bounce back against SDSU in a big way! We need this one heading up to the match-up with BYU...

Way to cover and beat the spread TCU. (Was the last spread still 20 points out
of Vegas?) Geez though, those are ugly uniforms. Looks like they were designed

I'm a huge BYU fan...and love to see the U get smashed...but I'm
cheering for TCU here on out. If the Cougs can't put together a perfect
season, we need someone in the MWC to. TCU IS FOR REAL!!!...unlike BYU and

Thanks for not giving up after falling behind so early. Wish we could have
helped our tackle with the best DE in the country, why not chip on him with a
back?? Tough to throw when your QB is hit on almost every passing play. Hope
we can win the last 2 games.

And Utah's supposedly "tough" defense (aren't the Ute fans fond of saying "BYU doesn't play defense"?) gave up 17 more points than BYU's did.
And this after TCU missed field goal and had a pass intercepted in the end zone. It could have been 60+ points had they been firing on all cylinders.

I never actively cheered against the Utes until I started reading the comments
on these articles. To see the rancor and illogical arguments that U fans post
is just unbelievable. It was fantastic to see this game play out exactly as
they all said it wouldn't.
TCU is a very solid team and I sincerely hope they get a chance to play for the national championship. The way they manhandled both the Utes and Cougars is indicative of what an incredible team they are. Their defense has been great for years, but it is their offense that continues to impress. They are tough to stop because of the amount of weapons they have and Kearley is a game-changer. Great team!

way to go utes- just like all you arrogant fans promised, you did keep the game
closer than BYU did. The utes only lost by 27. Way to go!!!!!
TCU scored 35 in less than 20 minutes of game time and then cruised, giving up an occasional big play to allow utah to score once in a while (you don't need to hold a team to 7 though when you're scoring at will on their 'd').

I doubt the Cougs will lose to the team who took Utah into overtime a few weeks
ago...It's clear that Utah is overrated and will be out of the top 25 after

All I can say, that even as a die-hard Ute Fan, TCU is FOR REAL! There is NO
team in the US that wants to play TCU. Yes we lost, but I am much more a BCS
hater than TCU hater. BYU? That is another story. The better team will
dominate in Provo in two weeks, and I think everyone knows who that will be.
Utah by 21 over the kittens. Go TCU...dominate the "Big 6" and best
of luck in the BCS game. Everyone knows it should be the National championship
but it won't happen. One day, BYU might finally catch up but I
wouldn't count on it.

Nothing to be ashamed at. I wonder if there is any team that can beat TCU. I
mean really, think about it.... maybe TEXAS, maybe Alabama.... I hope TCU plays
for the NC. They are hands down the best mountain west team I have ever seen.
I think they would have beaten the 04 Utes...
This team has NC potential all over it. I think they would work Ohio STate any ACC, Big East or Pac 10 team over... Utah is a solid team. BYU is a solid team but this year TCU is phenomenol... no last second field goals or drives. No hoping for the other team to miss field goals to win the conference. Utah and BYU both lost big to a very good team. I think this game today indicates that the BYU Utah game in two weeks will be a good one.
By the way Ute fans, don't be raggin' on BYU for a close win in Albuquerque. Your wins against Wyoming, CSU and Air Force are not exactly points of great accomplishment. Everyone has a close one once in a while.
And Ute fan, please make sure you get your facts correct. BYU played in New Mexico today, not in Provo. It shouldn't be too much to expect even a Ute to get that straight!

I cannot believe BYU fans are on hear talking smack. I would understand it if
Utah fans were doing so after BYU got smoked by TCU, but I got on those boards
and saw none of that. Ute fans kept their mouths closed, knowing we still had to
go to Fort Worth. Furthermore, Ute fans were not talking smack before this game.
Bottom line, TCU is quite a bit better than both BYU and Utah.
It is just so stupid... Utah and BYU have both looked bad at times this year. The week after zoobs were saying "look what we did against Wyoming and you barely beat them", TDS almost threw up on themselves against NM. And I don't care that they played bad, I'm just saying it makes their fans look stupid for things they've said.

Pick six, blocked punt, no offense, fumbles all put Utahs D in a bad position.
55 Pts in not utahs D, this will just make the TDS think they can actually get
by us. We will see what happens there. Nice job by Wynn and the offense, would
have liked better play calling but he will be a good one. We will will the next
two games and a good bowl game and look forward to a season with a great young
QB. GO UTES!!! (btw tcu better represent the MWC in their BCS game, dont blow
all of the progress)

TCU is a great team. Nice to have someone else in the conference pull their own
weight. Because Provo does not pull their own weight with major losses against
ranked opponents and poor performances in bowl games. How many points did the
Yners put up on TCU, umm....7. Yes the Utes, with a freshmen QB, could still
pile on 28 points against one of the best defenses in the country. Enjoy your
happiness Yners, your going down against Air Force and Utah.
