Looks twice as slower then in normal.
According to BYU fans (including Dick Harmon) TCU "outplayed" Utah in 2008. Never mind that fact that BJ drove on the mighty TCU defense for a last minute winning touchdown, Utah only won becasue of 2 TCU missed filed goals.

Pathetic. BYU stands no chance against Air Force, let alone Utah, if they play

Their offense is pretty good. But their defense is what lost its games this

logic BYU didn't win the game as so much as NM lost it (3 missed field
goals). Way to stink it up BYU. But hey you beat the worst team in Div 1 by a
total of 5 pts.; that's impressive.

BYU is a good football team with a very poor coaching staff. Until they can get
effective coaches for this team they are going to continue to be very difficult
to support.
In any other conference, they would probably be 3 and 7 at this point.

By all purposes, this should be a UNM win --they missed 2 FGs & 1 PAT by hitting the upright. For the WhineU fans who aren' math guys, that is 7 points --the final should have been 26-24 UNM

The problem is we never know what team's going to show up each week. In one
week they look unbeatable and the next they look like a they completely lost
their focus. It's so frustrating as a fan...
All I want is consistency! Play up to your potential! This goes for the coaches and players! I would rather us beat teams by a touchdown than blowing them out one game and struggling so bad the next.

wyoming by 12. Well guess what, BYU only beat New Mexico, probably the worst
team in the nation, by 5.

Utah beat TCU when the kicker missed a few. TCU was awesome.

New Mexico played better than anticcipated....BYU played worse.
BYU's offensive play calling was uninspired and sooooo predictable...!
Disappointing....same pattern as the past few years, almost a tradition?

This was probably the worst game BYU has played in the last three years. They
gave up stupid penalties at inopportune times, they were -2 in the turnover
margin, they dropped routine passes over and over, they got burned on screen
passes like six times and all around they were clearly not ready to play.
Fortunately, it was still New Mexico so even though BYU did everything in their
power to lose the game, they still won by 5. That was a seriously ugly win.
After this embarrasment of a football game, it will be kind of funny for me to see all the Yewts who have been championing the "a win is a win" motto all year now try an talk smack about BYU's ugly win. They'll have to change their monikers, but they'll still be all over this board. Bring on the hypocrites!

lucky to win today.
However, using the logic of Ute fans, just scraping by the skin of your teeth against bad teams is the mark of a BCS-caliber program.
But of course the Cougars aren't quite as "good" as the Utes are, because they didn't need three gimme turnovers to come from behind to beat a bottom-feeding team in the fourth quarter, like the Utes did against CSU.
And it is interesting to see now how quickly the Ute fans have abandoned the "a win is a win" philosophy they have clung to all season, and now recognize that a team which needs its opponent to miss two field goals to win is simply lucky, and not necessarily good.

It's too bad: Go look at last weeks comments when BYU handled Wyoming.
All the Cougar fans were giving Utah crap because they only beat them by 12. So
this week, the roles are reversed and of course the Utah fans are giving some
similar crap. Let's face it. BYU is inconsistant and Utah struggles with
the offense this year. With most likely identical records going into the
rivalry game, all we have left is who wins that game. With the way both teams
have played this year, it's anyones guess. I used to think that BYU was a
sure thing with home field and the seasoned offense, but if Utah gives TCU a
respectable game today, it's a definite toss up on the 28th. Besides
neither of us really want to go to the Vegas Bowl. We want something better.
Either way, go Utes!

EVERY week you are posting and comparing your wins vs our wins. Go look it up,
you have joked for weeks about the Wyoming score. You really thought we would
sit here and not say anything? 4th grade wagon? Thats cuz the 1st grade wagon
never ever learns. Fact is, Utah is TWICE as good as BYU and it kills you.
Should be used to it by now!!!!!
