Iris was a very good friend to my family. When we heard the news we were in shock. What a wonderful lady she was. The Cowboy Shooters have lost a dear friend. To her husband our condolences.

Wgen I hear about these snowy roads etc. I'm so happy to live in Arizona. We are still having 80 and 90 degree weather. I lived in Utah and Chicago and I can say I don't care if I ever see a flake of snow again. It is difficult to hear of accidents and deaths that occur on the snowy roads. Condolences to the family.

Is that a pickup? Or an SUV?

my condolences and prayers of comfort go out for Iris' family. To the person asking about the type of vehicle, I can see a bed and king-cab windows in the photo so I believe it's a truck. I was traveling on route 6 yesterday afternoon, heading to SLC, and I can tell you firsthand that the area near the Manti turn-off was a NIGHTMARE. Trucks were off the road everywhere with the drivers trying to put on chains and the snow was falling very heavy. NO snowplows were anywhere to be seen and traffic was going all over. There was ONE UHP officer there when I was there and he was an absolute HERO. He was everywhere, helping everyone, out in the snow with no back-up when I saw him. To whoever he is, I say THANK YOU FOR BEING SO VALIANT.

The mountains are colder. The Sky a deeper grey. On this side we mourn our loss.

You have crossed over the river, and rest in the shade of the trees. Some day we pray to be with you there.

May the spirit grant peace and reconcilliation to your family.
