I found out that I have CML in June of 2004. I have been on the Novartis drug,
Gleevec, since then. It has worked. Side effects have been minimal. My good
fortune with keeping CML in total remission for five and one half years is due
to the quality of care I received from the Ohio State Hospital in Columbus.
