As a Ute fan, I'd like to ask BYU to sign Bronco to a new 10-year contract.
We "like" him especially if he's staying the course.
Congratulations Coach Rose! You are a credit to the LDS Church, BYU, your family and players. We are pleased you are feeling better and that your cancer concerns are in remission. I followed your tenure as head coach at Dixie College. Thanks for being a class-act and example.
Rose's 100th win should come against Hawaii in the islands. Too bad it couldn't come at home in the Marriott Center.
BYU, for once let us know how much you are paying your Coaches..............LOL!!
"Sign Bronco Too", Do you realize that after the Cougars mop up the Utes on Nov 28th that Coach Bronco will hold a 3-2 advantage over your beloved Wittingham?
want these coaches resigned. BYU has won more conference titles the last three years than Utah (2 of 3 in Football and 3 of 3 in basketball). Makes no sense!
until he is gone, one and done is all that can be expected
Congratulations, Coach Rose. We are SO fortunate to have a great coach, leader, mentor and role model as you. May you have continued success in your health, and in your program. GO COUGARS!
Coach Rose is the class of the MWC. I wouldn't want anyone else at BYU.
Great job Coach.
for representing BYU the way you do. There are a few really class BB coaches and you are one of them.
he's got to turn to recruiting national talent to take the next step, but in the eyes of BYU he is just fine. If Rose was at a big time basketball school he could win the National Championship. It's just too hard to recruit for basketball at BYU. Keep winning the MWC, maybe a big basketball school will come calling. Clyde, Akeem, ...Rose?
Go Cougars Houston that is.
Stew is better! He always has been and always will be! It will be proven once again on December 2nd. I have a seat next to me in the Spectrum for any Cougar fan that doesn't believe me so I can laugh at you during/after the game! Go Aggies!
The Church tells all the rest of the employees we can only have 2-3% raises every year...
We barely make ends meet.
We have our wives working out of the house full time just to keep the mortgage paid and food on the table.
I'm guessing that Coach Rose, (already very comfortable living) needs the money more than the janitors and lower-end employees of the church!
I'll be pull'n for ya coach...at the games I can't afford to take my family to anymore!
See ya on KSL Radio.
Amazing.
I am glad that BYU has enough class not to release salary figures. I also hope that Coach Rose is making much more money...because he deserves it. I would not be surprised that some Church employees are paid below market. I don't that that should be used to take anything away from the accomplishments of the coach. I'm proud of him, of the team, and of the players. We're very lucky to have him.
I find it amazing that you are complaining about 2-3% raises when the rest of us have lost jobs, taken pay cuts or get no raises at all.
Re AMAZING... | 7:36 p.m.
Count your bleessings! At least you have a job!
Some of us don't.
Looks like the Utes need to worry about their own b-ball coach. The Utes are off to another great year. Losing to Idaho????? Go BYU!!
You've given BYU basketball fans many exciting years and have an excellent group of talented young men to coach this season.
I hope you stay at BYU for a long time.
You represent BYU with class and honor.
Thanks!
Get off the kick to somehow always make any article about BYU & Utah. Given what Coach Rose has gone through, I'm glad he's well enough to sign a 5-yr deal. He's got the Cougars on the right track.
And as for Amazing--sorry for your plight. However, there is an alternative. Get into coaching & see if you can do what Coach Rose has done!
Dude, you can get tickets for 5 bones if you sit upper deck. Do you have like 18 kids or something?
