Miles

Maynor will do just fine. He is the least of the worries on this team. The bigger questions are:

1: Will Millsap come wake up from hibernation and come out of his cave?

2: Will Boozer realize that he is not in Miami hanging out at South Beach as a Heat player?

3: Will AK figure out that he is not a 3 point shooter and start playing defense?

4: Will Brewer go 5-5 beyond the arc?

5: Will Jerry suit up to play point tonight?

6: Will Dwill show up in the 4th quarter to win the game?

re: Miles

You forgot one big question.

When will CJ Miles do something worthwhile on the court vs sitting here typing on the boards all day pointing false statement insinuating AK does not play defense.

AK plays more defense (and gets more rebounds) in one game than CJ miles has in his entire NBA career!

Stat before Celtic game.

AK on the floor? The Jazz +4
AK off the floor? The Jazz -24

Try some facts once in while Miles.

AK is the lone starter playing any significant defense.

Miles

I love your inflated stats. They mean nothing. When AK is on the floor, he is with 4 other players. Defense +/- is about who is on the floor with you. It is not an individual stat as some of you want it to be.

When AK starts rebounding, blocking shots and getting steals like he used to in year's past, then you can talk trash.

It is not CJ's job to get rebounds. He actually defends the 3 point line and doesn't get cheap rebounds from standing around the basket while his man shoots from outside. Nor does he get beat off the dribble so he is under the basket when the shot goes up.

Maynor Will Be Fine

He's got the ink on his body that seems to be a prerequisite for NBA ballers, now he just needs to talk smack like all of the twenty and thirty year old punks do and society along with the NBA players will accept him as a member of the "now generation". Oh I almost forgot he has got to 'twitter" also to make it too.

Ak Fan

Man Miles what happened? Too much smoke. Ak is only one who plays meaningful defense. He is actually better shooter than Miles.( 3 or 4 years ago he was deadly)
Maynor doing just fine.
