Pacific islanders feel spiritual uplift

Why don't the islanders where ties? I find this culture troubling. Look what they have done to the West Side and they are not very faithful. I think we need to be more vigilant in this area with these people.

Tamara, The Saints of the Pacific Islands are among the most faithful of any throughout the world--meaning diligent, hard working, and "full of faith". The Samoan Saints will triumph over this tragedy and come out stronger, because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Partly because of that faith they were fortunate enough to be blessed with temples in their homelands sooner than many other areas in the world, and even in the intermountain West. For example, the Hawaii Temple was built in 1917--the first outside of the continental US. Please don't judge other cultures as "troubling" until you come to know them and love them.

Sorry to tell you, but that wasn't a "spiritual uplift", that was a physical uplift called a "tsunami"!
