Why can't Obama use this same "thoughtfulness" and patience on health care. But really, how much time does a president need to make a decision. So he doesn't want to send more troops that is okay, but just do something. His thoughtfulness is going to get more people killed. This is just another attempt by ill informed media to justify an inexperienced president that has a record of doing nothing so far. SNL hit it right on the head.
Perhaps Obama is sending another message to our enemies: weakness! No I don't hate Obama, I just worry about his inexperience in these matters because there is so very much at stake here!
Exactly! Where is the patience and considertion on health care, bail-outs, stimulus, etc., etc., etc.? Why is patience only necessary for agendas and programs like these?
during this year is pointing more and more to his true personal belief which is Muslim. He and his family have not attended any church whatsoever since he has been in office. This means that his attendence in Jerimiah Wright's church was more political than spiritual. He did however learn to speak like a preacher which he continues to do so today. Which brings me back to the subject. He really doesn't have a clue what to do with Iraq, Iran, Afganistan or the Ft. Hood massacre. All of these decisions dig too deep into his true belief system. He's really just tongue tied right now on just what to say or do.
The message Obama's hem-hawing sends is: I don't know what I'm doing. A good leader would have had the response already formulated in his head.
It also sends the message that Obama is willing to rush into a much more complex issue -- health care -- without thinking it through, simply based on ideology.
That's what happens when you elect a rookie ideologue with no leadership experience.
The US military needs supplies. They pay a trucking company millions of dollars to get the supplies to our men. The trucking company wants their trucks to be safe, so they pay the Taliban millions of dollars not to attack their trucks.
Now the Taliban has millions of US dollars that they can use to buy weapons to use against American soldiers.
Dithering@10:48 PM, Another Message@12:00, and His Behavior@9:11 AM support this madness against American troops. And they think of themselves as Patriots.
This is an opinion piece. Don't mistake it for news.
7 years of indecision is called dithering or "Bushifying".
7 months of consideration is called "finding the right solution".
Those aren't the messages I'm getting. To all three groups, he is showing how weak and unprepared he is to be commander-in-chief.
This is not like him. He has no hesitancy in printing 2 trillion dollars for stimulus and healthcare, but because he is an enemy of the military, he drags his feet here? He uses this issue to try and show the american people he is capable of a calm and calculated response? While our soldiers are struggling mightily to hold the lines? Brilliant!
was this article written by the white house communications director? sure looks like it to me.
the only messages he's sending are that he is in over his head, can't make a decision, has poor advisors, and he will soon have a sore thumb from curling up in a fetal position over the whole affair.
