Should be a good exhibition type game for the Aggies to help them get ready for the Utes next week.

TO aggie fan  | 11:41 p.m. Nov. 12, 2009
If your thinking this is an exibition game your dead wrong. I mean, I guess that you like taking a exibition loss.. Weber State wins at home!
Re: To aggie fan | 11:53 p.m. Nov. 12, 2009
I completely agree. I am a Utah State fan and we expect to win against Weber with all of our returning players, but a smart Aggie fan won't look past Weber considering the last time the game was played in Ogden, two years ago, Weber won. Should be a fun game. Go Aggies!

If we go in with an exhibition mindset, we will leave WSU in tears. Stew won't let that happen though, this game will be fun. Go Aggies!
A Kansas Weber Fan | 6:24 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
It should be a great game for both teams. Weber fans need to fill the Dee Events Center tonight and give our guys an additional weapon for this Utah battle. Both teams are well coached and think it will cme down to the last possesion. So Weber fans fill it up, cheer them on and be good sportmenship on both sides. Great game Weber in a squeaker.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO TV | 6:42 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Not that big of a game. I am sure Utah State will have its far share of Fans there. Unless you count empty purple seats??? GO Ags

Give myself and everyone else a break! What is going on with media nowdays? Isn't there enough guaranteed money? This is just the reason I absolutely hate the media and any connection to them. Greed, greed what has the funky K-JZZ station got on it's schedule tonight at that time? All this said it will not change who I am and what I prefer, I will monitor this game however I can down here in Washington county, and will only watch the "preferred 2" when they play USU or WSU. This is the exact reason that if the U or the wonderful Y were playing Russia I would root for the Ruskies. Sickening republican, pro big business state thats all! Good luck to both WSU & USU in their upcoming basketball seasons.
GO AGGIES! | 9:20 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
The SOW will be there in force. It's only a short drive to Ogden, so I expect AT LEAST 1000 Aggie fans will be there and will make DEC their home away from home. I know that a large portion of my friends are going. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to it, as I am traveling another 5 hours south this weekend, but I will keep tabs on the game. Aggies should win this one, but it won't be a cakewalk. GO AGGIES!!!

Lots of hate and anger down south. Hope you don't own a gun.

Should be a classic, good luck Wildcats.

Come out and fill up the Dee, for those that can't make the game it should be available online, bigskytv org

GAME DAY
Go Ags | 10:07 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
I can't wait to see the boys in action tonight... This Aggie team will be something special this year! It'll be even sweeter to get some revenge for 2 years ago in the DEC. Weber's a good team so I'm excited to see how well USU can take care of business on the road, early in the year. GO AGGIES!!
Blake | 10:09 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Sorry Aggies but Weber is looking tough this year. If they can keep their shooting streak alive then USU won't stand a chance. Either way, it will be a good game. I wish I could go.
It will | 10:11 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
be a tough game early but Aggies will pull away in the second half. The team is too experienced to let any kind of letdown happen. Weber is well-coached so they won't just lay down and go away but Stew will still find a way to show his student (Rahe) what's up.
Go Aggies!!! Double digit win at the end!!!
Homer | 10:24 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
On paper the Wildcats don't match up with the Aggies, but if the Ags overlook them, or back off when they get a lead, the Wildcats are going to win. They're always tough at home and are the best in the Big Sky. They're well coached and can shoot the ball. Should be a great match up between Lilliard and Quayle.
North Idaho Aggie | 11:05 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Finally!!!!! After a very disappointing football season so far, it is time for some good basketball. Go Aggies!
Re: Blake | 12:04 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
HAHA you haven't watched very much college basketball huh??? USU might play a little better defense than the Colorado jr highs you have played
T | 12:17 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Yeah about as good as the Jr Highs USU played.
To Re: Blake | 12:32 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
You're right, just because USU's football team plays defense like a Colorado Jr High doesn't mean the basketball team will. Then again, you seem to be putting a lot of stock in USU's performance this year against cupcakes. Nice double standard.

Look, the point is you have two defending champions with a lot of experience coming back. Both teams lost their best player but have a solid core of returning players. Both will be very good this year and are NCAA bound, most likely. I think the major difference is just the arrogance of the USU fans. It's going to be a great game, and I'm looking forward to a tight WSU win.
Top 25 | 12:45 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Don't worry Aggies, we will hush all the haters when we jump into the top 25 next week after beating Utah.

Go Aggies !
To: To: Re: Blake | 1:00 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Weber State played pathetic exhibition games and Utah State's first game wasn't any harder, but Trinity Western, USU's second game, was competitive beating UVU by nineteen and leading BYU at near half time and losing by 18. USU was up against TW by 30 at halftime. I would say that is impressive. 44 - 14 is a pretty decent half time score. Still I agree exhibition games aren't a good judge because lineups are played different and winning isn't nearly as important as getting the team ready. Should be a fun game.
FAV | 1:02 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
My favorite chant is still "Jared's Winning!". That was 30 seconds before half time when Jared Quayle had 14 points and the entire Trinity Western team had 11. This should be a fun game. GO AGGIES!
Wildfan | 1:18 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
I hope USU does beat the U next week, that will make WSU's win tonight all the more impressive, we'll thank USU for the RPI boost!
USU? | 2:09 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Most USU fans aren't that arrogant, come on guys, we're forgetting who the real enemies are. yBu and Utah. This will be the biggest game in the state no doubt.
Re: Top 25 | 2:10 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Why would a win over Utah get Utah St into the top 25? They will be expected to beat Utah. The Utes won't be that good this year. And are Aggie fans going to rush the court if the Aggies beat the Utes, like they did a few years ago? It sounds like you're overlooking a good Weber St team. Bad idea. It's a good thing the Aggie basketball team doesn't have the same attitude as their fans.
game is free to view online | 2:16 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
no tv but its free online.

the big sky conference on their site has all the big sky games streaming free online. the game will be available 10 min before tipoff.

btw...USU couldnt win at weber when Jaycee was a senior, don't assume this is another exhib to get the agz ready for utah or a guaranteed W.
3 pt shooting | 2:17 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
if weber shoots 50% from downtown its over.

wsu hit 19 of 26 from beyond the arc in the first exhib. the school record is 15 (last yr)
Re: Wildfan | 2:48 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
U of U isn't very good this year. Weber State beating USU isn't going to raise their RPI much.
RE: Wildfan | 3:09 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
USU is playing Utah next week not Miami.

"I hope USU does beat the U next week, that will make WSU's win tonight all the more impressive, we'll thank USU for the RPI boost! "
Ags win | 9:34 p.m. Nov. 13, 2009
No surprise here but Tai needs to play better and we just need to play better defense. First game jitters are maybe the reason but I'll take a win in Ogden any day. Always tough to play there. Good luck Wildcats the rest of the way. Now, beat Utah in Salt Lake and I'd be happy!!!
Go Aggies!!!
