Must be really nice to go through life without ever letting knowledge get in the
way. Just because it's Idaho, doesn't mean they can't have a good
team, which they do. Truth is, this team is better this year than half the
team's in our league.

I hope we have a true point guard that Boylen is building into the program.
Drca is a better 2 guard than a 1 - not the strongest ball handler.
I'm excited to see this team develop though. I think Boylen has brought in some really good athletes - something that was missing under coach Giac.

coach seems to have a good plan, it may be a year or two before utes compete on
the national level again, but i would rather have a few losses against tougher
teams during that building period then wins over Sisters of the Holy Cup Cake...

And Utah's non-conference schedule is very tough. At the University of Utah we let our talking take place on the court and on the football field.

AND do we get to see Mr. KICK Bogut in the back Miles???? BYU folks are so good
at pointing- not so good when it's thrown back at them. The great thing
about this Utah team is how the game is played above the rim- or has anyone
noticed the space between the floor and their feet when they jump. At least the
Utes have players that can jump. Now that Cummard is gone I can really dislike
BYU- He should have been a UTE!!!!!Good luck Kim for your senior year.....

Cougar fans I wouldn't be talking about SOS. Utah plays the likes of
Oklahoma, Michigan, Illinois, LSU preseason. Three teams that are pre-season top
25.
BYU's best...Arizona or ASU, neither received a single top 25 vote.
Obviously I'm ignoring common opponents such as Utah St and in conference.

I think zoobie troll had it right, the F should represent their scheduling this
year. Idaho is a joke and not a good team at all. And don't talk about
making excuses, the only reason your talking about how good idaho is now is in
anticipation for the butt whooping Idaho is going to lay on you tonight in front
of "section F".. and everyone else.
Jimmy ball is over-rated. The team is progressively getting worse every year that his inherrited players leave the program. He can't recruit or coach.

In another story Coach Boylen said that this game is Idaho's "Super
Bowl." I've often wondered if one has to be arrogant to get a job at
the "U" or if the disease is acquired after arrival? The Vandals
often play Gonzaga, Washington State, and the University of Washington as well
as some teams from the WAC that have a good records against Utah. Last year
Idaho opened at Michigan State another pretty good program. Utah should be
favored at home but don't be surprised to see a Vandal victory.

I have No desire to read about what the Y is doing. I don't care! Of course
it could be kinda exciting living in the same state with an awesome Football and
Basketball program like Utah has, to see what the "BIG BOYS" are up
to. "Wow...Utah is Sooo awesome!" "They win their Bowl Games and
they have gone to the sweet sixteen a bunch of times!" "One day maybe
my Cougars will win a Bowl game and go to the 2nd round of the NCAA
Tournament!" Keep Dreaming Cougars... The UTES will keep winning!!! GO

That is a F non conference Schedule? Sorry we don't have San Francisco on the schedule.

Wrong. Drca is a great ball handler. It is his passing that is erratic. This
comes from being too aggressive. Here's the deal, though: Utah was better
last year when he was aggressive. When he tried to be conservative, the offense
went dead. It also when dead with he wasn't on the court. So, Ute fans
kind of just need to accept that he will have some turnovers, but he will make
even more amazing shots.
Hopefully one of the newcomers emerges, because none of the leftovers from last year are star player material. That is Boylen's next task: learn to recruit a star.

So even when the utes have a good schedule it is called bad? that makes very
little sense oh and Re:RE section F. Did you really just say that the utes are
getting progressivly worse? Look at where the utes went last year...NCAA. and
then the year before, i dont even remember the name of that tournament since it
was Worse than the NIT. People lets watch Some Jimmy Ball and Carlon dunk over

I wonder about all those people who commented earlier that Idaho was horrible
and a walk-over. The Vandals are a good team and will cause teams problems
throughout the year.

People in Utah including BYU fans will just have to find out that the
"crappy WAC" is flat out a better basketball conference then the MWC
this year. BYU will loss to USU in Logan, Nevada in Vegas and Fresno in Fresno.
Utah will be lucky if they can beat USU wednesday and that is only because that
game is at home. New Mexico State will be better then New Mexico and Idaho is
good team that will win 20 - 25 games. Face the Facts the WAC is just a very
good conference in basketball this year.
