I'm hoping the "big" bubble is burst tonight on the "wonderful ones" home court. The biased media in this state and the rabbid self serving backers of the "chosen 2" deserve this more than the players. Now start your ignorant, slanderous comments about this post like you have all season in football about anyone other than the supporters of the chosen "2". None of it or you mean anything to me.
To Go Bradley: You sound bitter. Sorry you feel the way you do. You must be hurting inside based on your own slanderous comment.
It should be a good game tonight. I expect it to be a tough fight. Go BYU.
No love lost at my house on Bradley. Hoping for a big win by the cougs to help the MO Valley Conf run back home wishing it hadn't agreed to play the mountain west.
Go Bradley, You sound like my two year old. I'm looking forward a great season this year. JT, Jimmer, Jackson, and a bunch of young guys who look pretty good should provide for some good entertainment. Here's to a sweep of the little red ladies and a couple of wins in the Tourney.
Does anyone have any idea what "Go Bradley" is talking about?
Anyway, Go Cougs. Big game tonight. It's time to bring it.
I like the arrangement to play games against the Missouri Valley Conference. After reading the article, I am even more excited about my tickets to see this match-up tonight. It sounds like Bradley will be a good opponent. Hopefully we are ready for good competition so early in the season. I hope the other Mountain West teams represent well against whatever Missouri Valley conference opponents they have on their schedules.
The Go Bradley fan is not a real BU supporter. We are not known to go into the opposing teams chat board and talk smack. We all know that this will be a really tough test for our team and playing in Provo is never easy. We expect to see a very competitive game and the kool-aid drinking fans we are we expect to see us win. BTW...a Bradly fan always says GO Braves!
JT is slow, Miles is even slower, and Jimmer was consistently beat by quick guards which is why Coach Rose is already talking about using him as No. 2 guard because he will have to bring in Morgan against guards with quickness. We use to call players like JT and now Jimmer "gunners"....one that always looks to shoot first, hitting the open man second.......if these two are on, than we will win but "gunners" usually cost a team more losers than winners. Assists in my day were way down on the stat list but today they are a key component
in keeping track of All Americans...if I did not watch one game all season, just provide me with the shooting % and assist's stat's for Jimmer and JT and I will come pretty close to the teams win/lost record.
It was easy for Florida State and TCU to play in Provo. Why not for Bradley? The Cougar basketball team is going into the season with the same expectation as the football team. I see disappointment on the horizon. Go Bradley!!!
Your post proves one thing...you don't know quite as much as you think you do. JT does like to shoot the ball too much, but hopefully he's learned how to share over the summer. Jimmer isn't a "gunner" as you like to call him. He's a good ball player and has been the reason for numerous BYU wins over the past couple of seasons. He will continue to lead the Cougars to wins throughout this season as well.
1959 was a bad year wasn't it? Oh well, good luck with your disease. Being bitter can be distasteful as well.
Good luck Cougs. Good luck Bradley. Peoria Illinois was the headquarters of my mission. I look upon it with fondness but not in sports. Peace.
BYU has always been strong in the Marriott Center. Basketball has a much greater home court advantage than football and that is why so few basketball teams go undefeated. They all get beat sometimes by a home team that gets up to play in front of a friendly crowd. Let's see if Miles and the backup bigs can come up big. If they do, BYU will be awesome.
Wow. Sounds like you have a lot of time on your hands. You're hilarious! Quite frankly, no one cares about your stupid comment either. Now go and do something useful with your time
Sounds like a Ute fan....
