There's no way we get into a packed house in chicago and try to sit back. We will lose if we do that.. Keep the attacking mentality and try to put 3 down chicago's throat.
music to my ears. if both teams take the same approach then the game should be awesome!
go RSL
It should be a great game. Go RSL!
I had a dream last night we got up by 2 goals and decided to rub in it and just scored at will. I sure hope that comes true. I hope we take advantage of Chicago's lack of defense. RSL 3 Chicago 1
I'm getting excited for this game. It should be a great weekend - the Aggies beating up on Weber State in basketball tonight followed by RSL taking it to Chicago on Saturday night.
I know many are predicting a Chicago vs LA final up in Seattle. At least that's what the ratings are hoping for.
I think we'll gain a ton more support if we play attractive, attacking soccer. Glad to hear we are coming out swinging.
Take it to 'em.
dont be afraid lads, this is our game
Take it to 'em RSL! Put out the Fire!
Road playoff games are totally different from regular season road games. We "MUST" win, and therefore we will not play to tie. Attack, and attack often!
GO RSL!
That "whoops" is for the Chi Fire underestimating our Real team!
A game that nobody cares about will end in a tie.
Please don't feed the trawlers.
GO REAL!!!!!!
the hype is right. I am sure the league is crossing its fingers for an LA vs Chicago match up. They want to be able to market a Beckham vs. Blanco game. They might not like it, but I would love to see the trophy in Salt Lake. I hope we are able to get rid of the nerves and settle in to the game earlier than last week. We don't want to make it a habit of having to come back from 2-0 deficits.
Everyone please ignore prediction and lets keep the discussion on topic.
RSL has peaked at the right time. The team is playing with extremely high confidence. There are a few players I have confidence in, and others that make me nervous every time they touch the ball.
Confident in:
Javi
Williams
Borchers
Olave (unless he starts sliding with his studs up)
Espi
Findley (shooting.. not so much with touch)
Beckerman
Wingert (Plays some good balls out of the back)
Not so Confident in:
Russell (Last week was rough, not much feild time lately)
Beltran (hopefully still hurt)
Johnson (The guy runs... but passing is terrible)
Rimondo (shorty mcgee)
Am I the only one who hopes that LA wins tonight? If we play against Houston I don't know how many people will care but if we play against Mr. Posh and Landycakes... the world will watch. Go Gals beat the '05s err Dynamo.
Chadders, you're absolutely not the only one. I hate Houston more than any other team in this league (even Colorado)! Keeping the Beckham business aside, I'm pulling for LA just so they beat Houston! Sounds like the only tickets left at Qwest are reserved for visiting team supporters clubs...I'm on it! I know I'm ahead of myself on that one, but hey, here's to some confidence for our boys tomorrow night!
Go RSL!!!
Real's too hot for Chicago to stop. See ya'll in Seattle.
Let's go RSL! I predict a 3-1. Findley getting 2 goals, Yura getting the other one, and Williams gets 2 assists while Morales gets the other assist.
We are going to beat Chicago, Blanco is going to be shadowed and frustrated, beckerman would smother him. I am ready baby can hardly wait
be in the finals my lads
C'MON RSL!!! Go out, play your game, and we'll see you in Seattle.
Seems to me the tactical revelation against Columbus was Williams and Morales at the same time. It was like having two #10s, and instead of stepping on each others' toes, they complemented each other so that Real was constantly moving the ball around with purpose. That would be the lesson I'd hope they'd take into Chicago.
