Roland Wright was my mission president. He ia a wonderful man and had a real influence on my life and many others. A day after Veteran's day, he is a true hero

Once again, religious freaks trying to shove their religion in the faces of everyone and in everything they do! Is is any wonder we get sick of it?

Enough, why did you click on this site, if you didn't want more information about the LDS Church? I think you just look for articles so that you can "blast" the LDS Church.

Another mormon boy does good! No wonder the DNEWS is on it's financial death bed with these kind of articles. People are fed up and want reform from religion, this is the only way the DNEWS will survive.

if you don't want to read about mormons stay out of "mormon times". The article was great. Thanks!

The article probably should have mentioned the number of enemy aircraft he shot down (if any) in each conflict.

Let's see. The Deseret News is an LDS owned newspaper sold in a state that is predominately LDS and yet shouldn't publish articles about Mormons? I don't get it. That's just the free market working as far as I can see. If you don't want to read stories that relate to the LDS faith I'd either 1) skip all articles with Mormon or LDS in the headline or 2) read another newspaper. I presume you read the paper online so I'd suggest the Denver Post if you can't find anything in Utah that suits your needs. Until then, I'd say you'll just have to live with it.

Nobody is "forcing" religion down your throat. As Nancy Reagan used to say, "Just say no!" if you aren't interested.

This man is a true hero regardless of his religion. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross for his valor and bravery during World War II.

The Mormons won the war for the US and saved freedom for the world. All our war equipment should be named in their honor.
