is why we should keep Sloan. The NBA trend of firing a coach cause they've gotten off to a bad start is ridiculous. You didn't see Cleveland pulling this crap, no they toughed it out and look, they're winning. This guy is not my favorite coach, but he didn't deserve to be fired. He turned one of the worst teams in the NBA into a Western Conference contender. Granted he did have Chris Paul, but even he needed someone to take him under his wing and corale him into the All-Star he is( though Deron is better :)) Consistancy wins games.

That said, nobody is going very far in this league if the point guard is your best player.
Even Magic was not the best player on his team.
