Will he being going on a mission before he starts playing for BYU? And will it be a two-year mission like most of us serve, or one of those four-month missions that the rest of BYU's basketball team went on?

To qualify for BYU the players have to have more than basketball skills and a pulse.

Mighty Running Utes signed 4 recruits. poor cougs only could sign two. Whats wrong, couldn't get anyone else to go the byu? Not only did we sign more but one is a Monson. His grandpa will certainly continue attending all the True universities games now!

Actually, ASU offered Collinsworth and wanted him very badly. So the score is 1-1 assuming BYU wanted the kid from Canada. As for Utah signing four and BYU two -- it is quality not quantity that counts. Collinsworth is the highest ranked player that either team signed. BYU also has to account for missionaries that are coming home next year.

Uhhh.....here's a rocket science equation for you: Two spots available = 2 scholarships. You just don't go out and sign as many players as you can every year.

A few Utah fans aren't very bright. Maybe you would suggest BYU should run their recruiting like an airline, purposely overbooking seats (Do I need to explain this practice to you?). No, BYU offers scholarships based on anticipated spots available. Maybe Utah was just eager to sign anyone with a pulse so a bunch of guys were eager for the free education and signed up fast. I doubt this, but it makes about as much sense as your inane assertion.
