The article could be read that all Sunnis consider Shias to be infidals. It is the radicals, not the general population that feel this way.
Ah yes, and the major at Ft. Hood didn't want to go to Afghanistan because it was immoral for Muslims to kill Muslims. The definition of an infidel seems to be quite variable and fits whatever situation one wants as the car bombings in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan demonstrate.
