Great Al

We really are a lottery team, aren't we?

No chance. Fesenko and Koufus could boost stagnant game but Sloan being Sloan. No chance

Remember the Alamo. I appreciate that Deron played tonight but in reality the Jazz need to make sure he's healthy, and if he's even knicked up a little they need to sit him for a few weeks to make sure he's ok. Get some of these other guys some experience, we know DWill is going to step it up when we get the two lottery picks, we just need to figure out who else will get to stick around for the championship run in a couple of years.

A Laugher

This game was over at the opening tip. How pathetic was that? This better change quickly or all of us jazz fans are going to live with "complete" embarrassment for the rest of the year. A payroll of 84 million, second highest in the NBA this year and this is what we get? 30 million for Boozer and A.K., 20 million for Memo and Milsap, thats 50 million for 4 players that wouldn't even make the starting team for most of the teams in this league, at least the quality top 15 teams. How ridiculous. Who talked who into this fiasco? I would play Mathews, Fess and Koufus the rest of the year with major minutes because quite frankly these 4 named players have 4 plus years experience and are flat not getting it done, and neither is our coach! Hopefully Boozer will be let go at years end and A.K. will get traded, we get 2 high draft picks and then our owners hire a new coaching staff to build on. Brewer also should not be signed, he is terrible also. What a mess.

So surprised

they lost given that awesome D Boozer was playing. Seriously, all you Boozer apologists, watch the video. The guy is never in the right place defensively. I don't know if he just doesn't want to get too many fouls, but he is a freaking spectator. Really, if you watch the tape, I promise you will see it.

Boozer is not the problem if you look at Okur. The return of Korver, and CJ isn't going to turn this team around. I have a small western store and a small drywall company and I can tell you that if my decision's or people I employ were failing (costing me or losing me money) I would immediately put a stop and fix what ever problem there is. Unless I was making so much that I needed a loss. I sure that the Miller's being a huge corporation has to see this. What would it be like to be a fly on wall around the players when there alone and the corporate office.

Jerry Sloan

Thanks for the memories but it is time to hang it up. The Jazz are loyal to you but you need to bow out gracefully.... You are no longer able to motivate a club and the game has passed you by. Education is not enough!

Same old ,same old Jazz...

...regardless who is on the roster, with Jerry Sloan as the constant factor.

Jerry Sloan teams don't win on the road, don't win when it counts the most. Did anyone expect a different result ?

Another typical Sloanian game of players playing in fear of the boss. But hey, at least they weren't wearing headbands, that's what counts the most, right Jerry?

jeremy

Sloan coach of the year.get on the Bandwagon.....

Pedro

The Jazz need a trade ASAP to create some sort of spark.

Losing to BOS at BOS is

understandable even if PHO did beat them the other night. It is the losses at home to SAC and HOU that really upset me.

We will see how the fare against PHI. However, the Jazz are getting buried in the West. Millsap at least came to life. However the basic Jazz model based on Boozer/Okur/AK/Brewer is not working and it has not worked for a couple of years. Replacing Boozer with Millsap actually produces a weaker (but less expensive) team.

The FO needs to rethink the PF, wings and back up PG positions before this team can move forward. Fez and Koufos are fine for depth. Ditto for Mathews. Okur has improved his offense and is trying on defense but he would need to be paired with a good defending PF.

A coaching change may make a world of difference. Sloan changes when forced to change but that is only when things are broken so badly he has to.

It is partly coaching philosophy and partly player selection/playing time/rotations.

I would rather be PHO right now than the Jazz (different philosophy). Which team has more talent? Collins must be laughing from the bench.

I don't believe we have our own draft pick this coming offseason...only the Knicks pick. I think we lost it somewhere along the way in some trade. Can anyone else out there in Jazz land verify that, or am i incorrect. At any rate, I was extremely disappointed by the effort most of the guys gave tonight (Boozer and Okur being the biggest culprits). The Jazz need to trade Boozer ASAP (even if they get 70 cents or so on the dollar in return), start Millsap, and just suck it up and play hard until Korver, Miles, Price, etc...return. If they can just hover around 500 until everyone gets back, and retool in a Boozer deal, they could still make some noise before the end of the season. But something needs to change...and soon, or were going to dig to deep a hole to climb out of.

JazzHater72

Well i hope you all had a chance to see the Jazz play againt a Contender... The Jazz should change their name to the Utah Prentenderzz!!!

JazzHater72

Maybe if Sloan wins coach of the year he will retire?

jazz man 98

The celtics only had 4 more field goals than us. Not horrible, but we had 0 3s. Hopefully that will change when we get korver and cj back. But lets be honest. If this was another bad team we lost to then I would be worried, but were talking about probably the best team in the league that we lost to on the road.

Jazz will get it together with some sort of Boozer trade that sparks us. Mark my words. The key is to win one more in this trip, and all of the home games for the month (They are all winable). We will be in ok position if we do that.

st. george jazz fan

hey atleast we won in the 4th quarter 24-21, it looks like Jerry is doing his job of motivating when it counts in crunch time.

Pretty sure we have two first round picks, the mock draft boards all say we do anyway.

Jazz fans!

Think of the bright side ya'll !

If we play okay, then the Miller family will stick with continuity and we will continue to be a mediocre team. Now we suck! This could end up good for the long term. They will have to make changes at this rate !

The status quo obviously is a disaster ...

lenni

whoa is me. there is something wrong here. I don't usually get on the coach, but mr Sloan has just got to do something about Boozer. he has a contract that most super stars have and he can't play two good games in a row. I can't bear to see this team turn into a third world organization. right now I see about three consistent players on the Jazz team. the rest of them, you just can't depend on. what is going on at the top of the heap. is anyone home!?
