I actually think everyone in the MWC and around the nation is focused much more on the BYU/UNM game. I mean, that's a serious matchup with national implications. Whether UNM can score may determine whether its HC gets fired before or after the end of the season. Not to mention there will be a lot of excitement surrounding how Riley Nelson handles mop up duty in the third and fourth quarters. Certainly better than a silly little matchup between the #4 and #16 teams in the country with BCS implications.

Jealousy is a good fit for byu these days. It wasn't that long ago game day was in "cougar town" only to have the day end in complete humiliation.

Combine that with last year and what could happen this year, Provo could be in a serious need of grief counselors.

I agree that Utah still has a lot to prove - I'm also happy that byu has already proved what we all knew. This year was your chance to bust the BCS and you blew it! The clock is ticking....26 years since you did anything*

yeah, utah has a lot to prove but so does BYU. BYU did good in '06 and '07 but they need to keep it up. I'd like for TCU to go ahead and go to a bcs bowl even though BYU would benifit if utah won... but I know they won't. TCU's D will make kitty litter out of wynn and cain.

Great article about the MWC. TCU and Utah will be a very exciting game to watch. Interesting though, Utah fans spend time dissing BYU before their own big game. I hope Whit and co. are actually preparing the Utah team to play.

So may Utah fans are predicting a loss for Utah this week. Where is your spirit and belief in Whit this week? What, no confidence in Whit?

If you paid any attention to football you would know that Whit always has his teams ready to play. Further, unlike your kitties, Utah shows up for big games. Finally, the only dissing going on this week has been from BYU fans saying Utah will get killed by TCU because it makes kitty fans feel better. What happened last year with Utah and TCU by the way?

FYI - did you know that Utah is 5-1 all time against TCU? The only time TCU got them was in 2005, right after the 2004 BCS year, with all new personnel - AND - that game was in OT. No more comments about Whit not preparing his teams.
