Shhhhhh! | 8:15 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009
Hold your pointer finger to your lips...listen for the silence! That's what our Royal team will be hearing after each goal in Chi-town. Blanco and his boys are gonna get blanked this weekend. That's all there is to it! Tear 'em up RSL.

I believe the silence in Chicago will be attributable to the dozen or so sleeping attendants, mostly homeless people looking for a place to sit down, who get in with free tickets.

I think our midfield is playing well enough to keep him contained. Hopefully we punish the Fire by making Blanco work on defense.

Go RSL put out the Fire!

@re: Shhhhhhh! Just watch the game to verify how many people are there. I suspect there will be a few more than a dozen or so homeless folks. Oh, by the way, there are no free tikets to be had anywhere. I emailed their front office to find out where I could go to get complimentry tickets and they replied that they did not give away tickets.

GO RSL! BEAT THE FIRE!

Part of me will miss Blanco the turtle, he was the player you loved to hate, the villain. In his advanced age he has mastered the art of the flop, but still has an amazing touch. I personally enjoy the atmosphere when Blanco or a Mexican league team comes to play Real. This will be Blanco's last MLS game and we will finally be able to say we beat him. GO REAL!

That doesnt even make sense, I know you have probably never traveled outside of your great state of Utah BUT your comment was uneducated and stupid. A sellout with standing room only is exactly what it is a "SELL" out. Tickets in soccer are selling and there is nothing you can do about it while you eat french fries in your moms basement playing fantasy football. Misery loves company but sorry, im not going to join you.
GO REAL SALT LAKE!!!

Real fans cannot bash anyone's attendance figures or fans of other teams, especially when they only had 11,000 attend their home playoff game. GO FIRE!!

Is a Chicago fan really throwing around attendance smack? That's what you call ironic.

"Only" 11,000 is pretty good when you consider it was Halloween night, we only made the playoffs a week prior, and season ticket holders didn't get free tickets.

Speaking of attendance, here are some numbers you probably don't want to see.
2009 Average Home Attendance
Real Salt Lake 16,091 (up 9%)
Chicago Fire 13,912 (down 20%)

20%! I guess we can give some credit to Chicagoans: It only took them a year to figure out Blanco's a has-been.
