Obama honoring veterans is like chickens honoring Col. Sanders!

The Col. Sanders quip only emphasizes the gulf existing between most Americans and the few citizens who actually bear the burden of defending our country. Shame on you for demeaning and trivializing a gracious act extended to those who mourn. All military families, in spite of their politics, appreciate any gesture that shows an awareness of the sacrifices that are being made.

I appreciate Pres. Obama showing respect to all veterans. I am grateful that he can represent me in tribute to all military who have given so much for my freedom and my country.

He needs all of the photo ops he can get to help cover up the fact that he's a Commander in Chief with Zero military credentials or experience, and is pathetically undergoing on-the-job training with two wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan (not to mention the homeland under threat of Islamiscist terrorism). How many months will it take until Obama decides his strategy in Afghanistan, meanwhile, our US troops are there, in harms way and in dire need of the extra support. Either listen to your hand-picked general for Afghanistan, General McCrystal and send in the 45,000 additional troops, or bring them all home, Mr. Obama. You have that moral obligation. This is pretty pathetic "change" in my opinion. Not what Americans voted for.
