The only real opposition to the annexation is a lack of time for the residents to analyze what little information is available. There are two sides to this issue and there is no one source of complete and unbiased facts. How much lower will taxes be for us if we annex? Will Sandy Police do a better job of curtailing excessive speeders? Will I be able to participate in the sandy clean up program? and will I be able to retain the "Granite Community" feel that we have enjoyed for so many years? I believe for me and my family we will now be better served by becoming Sandy citizens without compromising the Granite feel. Years ago that wasn't the case but things have changed. We are hoping for approval.
