We owe so such gratitude to the Navajo code talkers, for their dedication and sacrifices to this great country. The Marine Corps. is sure proud to have had them as part of their legacy. Thank you is not enough for your faithful service and your ability to change the course of history and preserve the lives of so many Americans. We will forever be thankful, and WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!

While I was in the military serving my country is the first time I had ever heard of the code talkers during training and they have been neglected far too long for their contributions to america and their own nations. But having been sworn to secrecy and how much native americans value their oaths is no real surprise. These heroes deserve much more than medals of honor, they deserve the greatest respect as a nation with values.

Any soldier going to war for his country is a hero in my book. They face every adversity there is to being human and a soldier.

Today is one day of the year that all soldiers deserve our thanks and honor. It's too bad though that many americans choose not to serve their country and earn the pride of being an american. Personally, I would like to see it mandatory for all americans to serve their country as soldiers, even our presidents. It gives a whole new meaning to our constitution and what it says.

My Father was a Marine during WWII, and he spoke with gratitude of these men and their courage, and talent. He was on Saipan, and Iwo Jima, and was thankful, for these fine men, and the great service they provided.
