4A Game of the Year | 10:48 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
and it is going to be played in the semi's... Does anybody else have a problem with this besides me?

UHSAA needs to wake up and catch up with the rest of the country and properly seed their top football teams in the playoffs.

Good luck to both teams!
Timpview 4 Life | 11:28 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
I am an avid timpview fan, but i have a really bad feeling about this game, with kuresa at quarterback and studs in every skill position i think mountain crest is just too good for us this year. I think it will be close but were going to need alot of luck to win!!! go timpview
RE: Timpview 4 Life | 12:16 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
You really think MC has studs in every skill position? You sound like an MC fan posing as a TV fan. I hope both teams play to the best of their abilities and hopefully MC can pull it off.

re: 4A Game of the year?? | 7:10 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Have you been in a cave for the past month??? These brackets were set up long before the playoffs and ROTATE every year so sometimes the "so called best teams" play before the championship. Last year people were complaining about the same thing saying the TV/Cottonwood game was the best two teams and yet the MC/TV game was hands down the best game and nobody gave MC a chance going into the game. Bottom line....beat who they put in front of you and you will be the champion. QUIT WHINING!!
This is the real championship  | 7:21 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
the winner of this will win the state Title and this should be the state champ game. At least it’s at the turf. Good luck MC this is the game we have been looking forward to for a year!
RE: RE: 4A Game of the Year | 8:35 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Thats a great comment and one of the few that will make sence will this article is popular for the next 24 hours.
Timp Chickens. | 8:42 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
The stangs are going to stomp the Timp Chickens. Mountain crest has too much talent for timpview this year, led by kuresa.
Jason W. | 8:42 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
This should be a great matchup this year. I'm a Timpview fan but I don't know if they can pull it off this year. They are great but I don't think they're as good as they were last year and Mountain Crest looks to still be a dominant force. Whoever wins this game will dominate Springville or Dixie next week.
Hey timpview | 8:45 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
limit the CHEAP SHOTS this week.

STANGS BABY | 8:50 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Hey TV, are you GOING TO CHOKE like you did in the 2nd half last year when you completely FELL APART.. HA HA HA.

Stangs are coming at YA!
Stangs.. | 9:12 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Stangs are too quick and fast for Timpview.

MC 45 TV 28

Next week MC wins in blowout for the TITLE!
Prediction | 9:22 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
MC 38
TV 31

Kuresa | 9:26 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Does anyone know what offers, if any that Kuresa has at this point? I know he is just a Jr but I haven't heard anything about interest in him. The Utes would be wise to take a hard look at this kid.
can't wait | 9:29 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
to see the Utah County all-stars get beat by a LEGITIMATE high school team that only uses ITS OWN PLAYERS.
Re: The real Championship | 9:36 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Mountain Crest, you only beat Bonneville by 10. Dixie beat Bonneville by 10 and didn't have a QB the last quarter and a half last week. Don't underestimate the other teams, especially TV!
Sorry Timpview.  | 9:38 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
You can't stop Kuresa.

Not last year. Not this year.

MC 55 TV 38
Weather?? | 9:53 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
TV might get lucky. A wet, rainy cold day may favor them.

Anything they can get to slow down Mountain Crest is what they need. Otherwise, it could get ugly for Timpview early.
go mc | 10:44 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Go MC but this is going to be a good tuff game. state champs to whoever wins.
GO MC
this isnt going to be easy for Either team!
4a | 10:49 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Who cares, just want to see the big boys play, not the little leagues. You guys are barking about nothing. Will be great to watch 5a friday.
MC FANS | 10:53 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Timpview is going to be a tough game, but I think MC is too tough this year.

Do you think MC matches up with Springville or Dixie better? (who should I pull for).

Or do you think neither schools poses much a threat.

Good luck Mountain Crest, all the fans of Cache Valley are pulling for you!
Yo Badger- | 10:57 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Kuresa is coming at ya BRAH.
WOW.. | 11:23 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
A lot of VERY confident Mountain Crest teams.

I tip my hat that you have the gaul to call out Timpview.

I guess we'll all see in a day.
Trash talking | 11:42 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
I like all the trash talking from some of the MC fans. Both teams are pretty darn good and I hope it's a great game. If the winner of the TV/MC matchup goes on to wallop the other team in the state championship, then this could essentially be the championship game. It would be a little foolish to assume that at this point. Let's see how things pan out.
QB's | 11:45 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Both of these teams have talented QB's. Brown is a legitimate D1 prospect with his size and speed. It looks like he has more than twice as many yards rushing and it is my understanding he only played half the game in most of TV's games because of blowouts, so his numbers are impressive. Kuresa is very talented and dangerous and definitley the guy to stop if TV wants to win. It will be a great game to watch. Hopefully the weather holds up.
to 4a | 11:58 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
take it easy! these kids have worked hard all year and for you to downplay that is fairly lame.
Anonymous | 12:32 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
should be a great game. least mistakes will win this game. Never count tv out though, but I hope mc wins this game. Good luck to both teams and I hope it will be played without cheap shots.
FYI | 12:56 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Just a tid bit of info for all the whiners, Pretty much all the larger school disctricts in the state have open enrollment positivly affecting athletics at many schools.... believe it or not, even the hallowed Mountain Chrest
Not all Cache Valley Fans | 1:15 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
are pulling for MC. MC Fans sound a lot like the Pleasant Grove group that just got bumped last week. We are the best...We are the best... Let it playout on the field.
give me a break QB | 1:43 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Funny to see parents of players like QB's saying they are D1 prospects. You have no idea, what it is like, in two weeks they will never play football again let alone college ball. Only about 1 in 5000 HS football players get college scholarships so get real.
Keep it up MC | 1:44 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Nice job MC fans and players, keep talking. Timpview doesn't need any motivation but you are giving them plenty. It does sound just like Pleasant Grove talking doesn't it?
MC | 2:00 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
I am a Cache Valley Fan and I am pulling for MC. The team has a great bunch of boys on it and they have worked very hard. I have watched these boys since 7th grade and I don't have a son on the team. Go for it MC, you can do it!!!
Re:FYI | 2:05 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Just to give you an example how some schools work this, one 5a school had 17 out of 22 starters living outside of school boundaries, thats a fact. They didn't do that great, but they are trying.
Football Fan | 3:38 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Every year I have high hopes for the USU Football team, and every year they Disappoint me! Thank Heavens for the Mountain Crest Mustangs for providing me with championship calibur football! I've watched you play all year and I think your going to be a hard team to stop!

Go Stangs!
Final Score | 3:40 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Timpview 55
MC 17

Another blowout loss and another sad ride home...
RE final score | 4:47 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
ha ha its way hard for timpview to get blow outs playing in happy valley isn't it?!!! Blow out a team as good as highland then we'll talk, you guys have learned the hard way if TV plays decent teams they lose EX alta, pleasant grove. Final score 34-28 Mustangs!!!
ARE YOU NUTS!!! | 5:06 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
IS "Final Score" completely NUTS!

NO WAY does Timpview blow-out MC. If they win, it'll be a total upset and upsets usually occur when the dominant team (mountain crest) makes mistakes. that can happen, especially with the weather, but NO WAY does timpview blow out Mountain Crest.

Timpview is arrogant and will be HUMBLED soon enough!
Highland | 5:27 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Isn't any good.
......................... | 5:34 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Hey People each of the teams are really good. They all know it is going to be a hard game. The weather will be a big factor. MC has a great team and so does Timpview. They both have great players the game is going to come down to who's defense can execute better. That is just my opinion.
STANGS BABY | 5:35 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
We are rolling this year, nothing can stop us. Timpview will be another name in the list of blow out wins. You guys are pretty good and have worked hard but we have worked harder and we want it more.
To: ARE YOU NUTS!!! | 5:36 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Timpview is arrogant???? Have you not been reading all these comments? They are 5 to 1 for MC. It won't be a blow out for either team but MC fans here seem to act like they have already won.
Kuresa | 7:38 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Is real. This kid is unstoppable. Timpview's secondary will be carved up in no time.
Football Fan | 7:44 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
I hope Mountain Crest gets pummeled. I am sick of their fans thinking they own 4A football. No one has dominated 4A like Timpview. They are 24-4 in playoff games since 2001. Where as Mountain Crest is 15-6. I am pulling for Timpview to do it again.
know it all | 7:53 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
stop talking mc you guys talk like you have beaten tv already and the scores are a joke. Did MC win three in row o yeah they never did timpview has won the last three so it's going to be great game but stop with the talk of MC is so much better then timpview
4A CHAMP GAME | 8:00 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
When is is? I checked the uhsaa website and could not find out when it was.
Real MC FAN | 8:20 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
I know these comments don't make a difference to the kids but anybody calling out Timpview isn't really an MC fan. We are excited for the challenge and the game should be great! Until then please everybody know that real MC fans have better things to do than sit on this site and try and stir the pot! Good Luck to both squads! I am rootin for the boys up north!!
Football | 8:30 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Give TV credit, has mountain crest won three straight titles? it'll be a good game, but once you beat the big dog than you can start saying your the best...
GAME OVER timpview! | 7:44 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009
This game will not even be close, the trash talking will be over probably at halftime when Mountain Crest will have a 3 touchdown lead to a shell shocked Timpview squad. The facts are the facts, the reigns have been passed to the boys up North. We will take it for the next 2 years enough said. The next game against Dixie or Springville will be a game where we can put all of the players (esp. seniors) in the game so they have a chance to play on the turf.
MC Parent | 8:51 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009
I know this is going to be a tough game. Timpview is the champs until someone knocks them off.

but after seeing the preparation and fire the MC kids have right now, I just can't see them losing this game.

Truthfully, I think MC beats Timpview by 2-3 touchdowns.
MC 2009 4A State Champs | 9:54 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009
Mountain Crest's defense is too tough for Timpview. Our defense is more physical and too tough for Timpviews O-Line and running backs. I doubt they rush for over 40 yards and pass for more than 100 today.
MC FAN | 10:01 a.m. Nov. 12, 2009
I think MC will come out on top. It will be a great game. I am glad it is going to be on tv. This is the year for Mountain Crest.
