Oh please, get off the low fat bandwagon. Saturated fats are needed by almost everyone, especially babies, children and pregnant women. Raw milk is best with cream. It isn't the natural saturated fats that is putting on the weight it is sugars, refined wheat flour and corn products with quick energy and nothing else. Fruits, vegetables yes, a lot of them and meat, fish, poultry and eggs with attending fats and butter and olive oil. Not vegetable oils. Good fats nourish such as butter, olive oil and coconut oil. Inflamation (leaky gut) comes from intestinal lining tired of trying to do it's job with too much candida overgrowth fed by bad (refined)carbs. Whole grains are good but only if properly prepared, i.e. soaked, fermented or sprouted as ancestors used to do. Grains are very hard to digest and can cause a lot of intestinal problems if not prepared correctly.
