Always remember that profit and prophet should never be mixed.

God doesn't 'bless' the greedy

Is is sad that we cannot trust anyone from our government on down. The old adage is true, "if it seems to good to be true, it is too good to be true". Greed drives so many people to invest in risky prospects in the hopes of gaining greater returns and often they lose, sad as that is, it is a consequence of their greed.

The Apostle Paul warned of wolves in sheep's clothing. That was 2,000 years ago, and, sadly it is still sound advice. Bernie Madoff exploited his conneections with his fellow Jews. LDS wolves have fleeced the flock. They join Baptists, Pentecostals, Catholics, Moslems, Hindus, and all othr groups of people who want to believe the best in their fellow human beings, and who get taken. Truly appalling and sad. But sadly true.

Although there have been convictions, how many people have been repatriated of their losses? Justice isn't served just by convicting, it also must include repatriation in full. You can bet that the prosecutors took their share right off the top of any confiscated funds, but where does that leave the victims? Prosecutors are paid whether they win or lose so its no sweat or cost off their backs either way.

What good does it do to prosecute and convict and turn the white collar criminals loose and leave the victims with nothing? Where is the justice and why bother to prosecute if there is no justice for the victims?

Impact Networth changed their name to Networth Solutions. There is more to the story, I don't think the Elliots perpetrated fraud. It appears to me that greed came in to play & destroyed a good thing. I think the Elliots may be innocent victims. Read the court cases. So many people have lost so much! Funny how the founders seem to be the ones holding all the money. Check out all the threads on rip offs!

Of this 204 million, how much money has been repaid?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Affinity Fraud is probably the best kind of fraud. It's much nicer.

I'd sooner have my choir director get rich by ripping me off rather than a total stranger.
